Publisher's summary

I have to be tough, even if he makes me want to submit....

Never depend on a man. Those were my mother’s words to live by, and I took them to heart. They’ve kept me going in my life as a diplomat. So far.

If I’m going to survive now, an alluringly dangerous male might be my only hope. There’s nothing good for me on this godforsaken planet, except for N’Ashtar, the alien prince who makes me yearn.

How can I crave him when it goes against everything I’ve ever known?

I have no time for a pale weakling....

I need to prove myself as next in line for chief. As acting war chief, it’s my duty to take on the Caterri. I can’t waste time thinking about a mate, especially not if she’s a skinny, useless human.

But Dana isn’t as useless as the others, and she awakens long-dormant desires that I can’t ignore. Protecting my people has to be my number one priority.

But how can I do my duty when the only one I want to protect is her?

N’Ashtar the Alien Prince is a steamy alien romance guaranteed to abduct your heart! Listen to find out how a scaly alpha male shows his mate what it means to belong to an alien prince.

Awesome!

All around great story.. it had just the right amount of action and romance. I love how well these alien guys protect and love their humans. It was a nice ending to the story that the heroine was expecting. I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

Standalone: Mostly
Part of a Series: Book 2 in the Thoherian Barbarians series
POV: N'ashtar and Dana

4/5

Although technically a standalone, N'ashtar the Alien Prince works better if you read book one first. This book starts where the first book ended, with Dana kidnapped and N'ashtar setting out to find her. I liked Dana's quick thinking with her captors and strong morals when it come to showing mutual earned respect. Although I finished this book in a day, I think I liked book one better. I like the world built and would love one more story but the Thoherian Barbarians series is at a great ending point. Overall N'ahtar the Alien Prince is a fun story that's even better if you think of Thoherian Barbarians as a duet.

The princes turn to tell his tale

If you enjoy the alien romance trope, this is a good one. Human women stranded on a planet where females are rare. This couple had fireworks as the leaders of the two people united. They switched narrators between book 1 and 2 and I preferred the first narrator, particularly for secondary characters. However, it didn't keep me from enjoying the book or the series. I'll be looking for more.
