This is a comprehensive guide to help you prepare for the NASM certified personal trainer exam. The breakdown of information covered in the NASM exam is organized into 6 domains. This book follows that same format perfectly. You get a comprehensive review of the information covered in the test as well as practice test questions. I love that Schaefer elaborates on why certain answers are not correct, giving a deeper understanding of subtle intricacies in the information. Not only is the last chapter dedicated to test prep questions, but every chapter finishes with review questions to solidify what you just learned. It will have you passing the test with flying colors!

narration is pretty terrible. info is good
Too many mispronounced words and amateur vocal delivery . In a hard copy book an editor corrects spelling and grammar errors before publishing . Audible should have producers edit and be sure that words are properly pronounced.
Regardless of the distracting narration , the info was worthwhile and I was grateful for the review .

Good information, catastrophic narration
The book is fairly well written and contains good information.
The narrator is so terrible I could not finish listening to this book. Her cadence and intonation is all over the place and makes trying to understand what she’s saying nearly impossible. She destroyed a perfectly good learning tool. I have used computer screen readers with smoother reading and better listenability. She mispronounces scientific terms consistently.
