About this listen

The issues that make monogamous dating daunting for people of color - shaming and exclusion by white partners, being fetishized, having realities of everyday racism ignored - occur in polyamorous relationships, too, and trying "not to see race" only makes it worse. To make polyamorous communities inclusive, we must all acknowledge our part in perpetuating racism and listen to people of color. Love's Not Color Blind puts forward the framework - through research, anecdotal testimony, and analogy - for understanding, identifying, and confronting racism within polyamorous communities.

Should be required reading for polyamory

Such a nuanced perspective on non-monogamy. I really appreciated how many examples the author included to drive points home. As the author says, this is almost a study of sociology through the lens of polyamory. Easy to follow, informative, and interesting. Will definitely read again and I’m recommending it to all the polyam people I know.

Brilliant

Love this book. Loved the challenge of this book. Appreciated the level of self examination it caused me to take. I found the author to be authentic, brave, revolutionizing and vulnerable.

Thank You

I New nothing about polygamous relationships. I loved learning about it. However, it was so much more than that. Bravo! And Thanks again!
