Great information and narration so enjoyable to listen to

I have read lots of health books and this one seemed to sum them all up! Talks about keto, paleo, fasting, high fat, low carbs etc. I will bet most of your questions will be addressed in this book concerning your health and how to get healthy and feeling better. The narrator adds so much personality which is an added bonus!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book

I initially saw this book while waiting in an office supply store & immediately looked for it on Audible. Having eaten low carb for several years (to control my blood sugar) I had gotten a little off track & was intrigued by this book. Although I already knew a lot of the science of low carb eating, it was a nice refresher and I enjoyed the breakdown of various keto & low carb plans. I have since purchased 2 of the titles reviewed in this book to learn more. I think this is actually a really great book for newbies to low carb/keto & a nice refresher for veterans who may feel stuck or have hit a plateau. I highly recommend this book.

An excellent book that reviews very well the exist

Recommend it to anyone interested in nutrition or confused by all the conflicting messages by the media. He explains in detail what recent research says about nutrition and later in the book reviews existing diets like Atkins, Paleo, Keto, Zone and more

Read it! Impressive review of different low-carb diets and nutritional information

The book showed me how much leeway there is in low-carb diets.

We can go keto and virtually exclude all carbs or have 16 servings of fruit and vegetables (chapter 6) and still come unde 100g of carbs which is twice less than an average American currently eats.

What all diets have in common is taking away flour, added sugar and processed foods. If you do that, no matter how much carbs you eat, you'll see the difference.

Diets in chapter 9 were reviewed impartially and the author doesn't try to 'sell' you any particular one - or his own program.

So happy the book was included in the Audible Plus catalogue 🙂
