About this listen

Lily

He’s rough. He’s ready. I’m neither.

I’m a sacrificial lamb just waiting to be slaughtered.

A socialite spawned by a sadist whose life’s work is to cause misery in others.

My life is a prison cell, until he helps me find the key.

He’s not as dark or as dirty as they say he is.

His roughness stirs something in me.

Something primal. Something no socialite should crave.

He’s a brother in an MC, a world that should be alien to me but somehow, it’s my first real home. It has rules and regulations that make no sense to me, but one thing is clear: society princesses and MC brothers aren’t a match made in heaven.

But I’m fine with ruling over hell instead…

Link is the second book in the eleven-book A Dark & Dirty Sinners’ MC series.

Wrong side

Link and Lily shouldn’t work. He is from the wrong side of the tracks if you will. Yet this rough and ready biker shows his gentle side. He pieces back together this damaged girl so she can stand tall. Teddy and Rose truly brought this amazing story to life.

I Love Link and Lily

5/5 ⭐
2/5 🌶️
4/5 🎧

Link and Lily are two of my favorite characters in this universe. The opposites attract was super heavy here with socialite/MC and virgin/definitely not a virgin tropes and yet somehow they had some amazing chemistry that really carried this story beautifully.

Link is where this series starts to get dark... We find Luke's women battered and bruised, inside and out... We find out Lily's past is far from sunshine and rainbows and we get deeper into what the ultimate plot of this series is. Serena does such an amazing job writing the darkness and I can't get enough.

The audio was fantastic. Teddy Hamilton is, well, Teddy Hamilton and a god amongst men in the narrating world. I hadn't listened to Rose Dioro before but I really loved her female narration.

Sin and Tiffany are up next and I can't wait to get started.

Really enjoying the series so far

I really enjoyed this one. I like how so far the 2 heroines in this series are strong. I also like how we get little glimpses into other character's lives it serves as teasers for future books.

Narrators

A little hard to follow who is talking with other characters having chapters outside the couple the book is about but still a great series

Overall enjoyable but…

I struggled with the story told in the first person but jumping around between characters, especially the female characters with no real differences in the narration.

Not what I was expecting

This is NOT a dark and dirty romance. This book is somewhere around PG-13 if you like dark romance. This also didn’t feel like Link and Lillie’s story. It was just an MC story. The first book had narrative from supporting characters, but it was still mostly focused on the main characters. This one had input from a lot of people talking about things that had nothing to do with the main characters. Not only that, these little snippets popped up at random times and interrupted the main story. I haven’t listened to the next story yet, but it seemed like this book was written to set up the next book and maybe continue the last one. It just didn’t feel like its own story. The ending is very abrupt. Again, probably setting up the next book, but just know it just ends suddenly. Of course Teddy Hamilton was excellent as always. The female narrator was good voicing the female, but her male voice was not so great.
Overall, I did like Link and Lillie, and I also enjoyed the first book. I am planning to continue with this series hoping it goes in a direction more like the first one.

Lily and Link

Narrators were awesome. Plot was engaging. But I do feel that the ending was rushed. Link and Lily story needed more closure. Then there was the introduction of the next 5 points book that sort of came out of nowhere.

Interesting characters and fantastic narration!

Interesting characters and a twisty underlying story make this book a 5 star read for me. Fantastic narration make it even better!

the plots thicken..

Sixth in The Five Points‘ universe. Great world building and suggested reading order is definitely recommended shouldn‘t be ignored. It‘s a very intertwined story arc. I love this world! The narration is top notch. Mind the TW's there are MANY.
