Spoiler Alert

The storyline is too unbelievable even for fiction. To have so many people who will do the dumbest things, especially for sex, is annoying. And the fact that Monica is initially not so concerned about her missing son is baffling. Who would have sex with the captain (a complete stranger) just moments after their child is missing? She even goes to work like nothing happened and after getting an update on her cases she mentions she needs to focus on her missing child. And for Marcus to go back to miss psycho after getting his son is annoying. A few questionable act in a novel I can understand. This novel had an overwhelming amount of unrealistic scenarios.
