Boring short book

Boring, shorter book, mostly common sense . Read Jason Hanson's (ex cia) book Spy secrets that can save your life for an excellent read!

It only cost $5

In fairness to this book I went in knowing that it was only 90 minutes long and only cost $5. with that said I felt like somebody read the bullet points off of PowerPoint for how to be a spy Workshop.

Incredibly disappointed

Let me save you some time and a few bucks. Google body language and YouTube some escape vids. Because that's essentially what this author did. There are much longer books about all the stuff this author covers, & the majority of it is life skills, not spy skills.

Meh

Catchy title. A few good tips. It is simplistic approach to situational awareness. If you have ever had to watch the government mandated videos for anti terrorism, you already know this stuff.

Ugh. Completely useless

"Develop situational awareness".,"Pay attention", "use all your senses"... sorry, if this is the kind of advice that spies give/get, the world is in a lot of trouble. This audiobook is cheap, but actually is worthless. Or, more accurately, is worth less than zero, as it wastes your valuable time.
Even after listening into the second chapter, I was not sure what the whole point was.
Please stay away.

Author nailed it....

I will give this 5 stars for the author's effort in writing and publishing the book. It's more than I've accomplished in my lifetime.

One of the best!

Author Daniel Brand offers no biographical information by which we might assess his credentials for teaching us spy secrets, but that matters little when listening this well informed, accessible, practical manual on how to protect ourselves and those around us.

outstanding!! Book

In his Introduction Daniel shares his intentions – ‘Whether you were looking for a fun listen or seeking detailed and under the radar information regarding what it takes to become a successful spy, then you are in for a real treat! Each of the chapters in this book will go through the most crucial areas of expertise that today’s spies in action must have. While the television shows that you avidly watch may give you a good look at the everyday agendas of the average spy, they really do not do a great job at portraying a realistic standpoint. This book will help you to dive right into the back pocket of what a run-of-the-mill spy does as they fulfill missions, save the world, and make the world a better place to dwell! You never know when you will fall into a delicate predicament that will require knowledge beyond your reach. The information within this book will help you to survive unique situations and will mold you into a more observant human being. While there might be a few books on the life of a spy, this is the only one written in a friendly, everyday tone that will help the average Joe become a seasoned agent in their free time. This book is all about developing the proper mindset that is required of one to make themselves into a prosperous detective.’ And he keeps his promise: by book’s end we have a keen idea of how to think like a spy and thereby brace ourselves against their antics.
