Do you want to launch a startup, start a small business, or set up a home-based business?

Are you considering the jump from employee to entrepreneur or from employee to self-employed?

Are you a first-time entrepreneur or a new business owner?

Do you have concerns about what you should or should not do to succeed in your new enterprise?

If you’ve answered yes, keep reading.

According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, nearly 20 percent of startups do not live past their second year, and many more fail before their fifth year. Have you ever wondered why many new businesses fail so quickly after their inception?

Over my decade-long journey of entrepreneurship, learning and observing other small companies, I've come to realize the importance of a few aspects when starting, launching, and growing a business.

This book identifies the most common mistakes made by beginners and new entrepreneurs and how to avoid them.

If you employ the advice in this audiobook, you’ll get to learn:

  • How to avoid the dangers and pitfalls that would otherwise sink your enterprise
  • How to set up a profitable business
  • How to set your new venture up for success

This book is a quick-start guide that will teach you the basics you need to know for your first steps in the entrepreneurship world.

Great Guide

This is most definitely a great guide for anyone new to business/entrepreneurship. The narrator threw me off a bit as I just guess I was expecting a different sound. If you're an experience self employed person who has opened a business previously this might not be of great assistance, but there were nuggets for even those that have been business owners.

Overall a good listen and a strong guide for a good start.

A business god-send

As an avid business book fan and reader, I like to think of myself as a bit of an expert. Especially when it comes to the top releases we all know and love (or hate). This beautifully put together work stands strong among the greats. Highly recommend, and that’s coming from someone that has had a few entrepreneurial hiccups! Don’t go at it alone!

Where was this audiobook a few years ago?!

I've made quite a few business mistakes, so I sought out a book to get me right. The book spells out complicated issues in a really easy -to-understand way. And it doesn't talk down to you, like a lot of other business books. I found it really motivating. Great narration as well. Recommend!

Beginner Entrepreneurs must read

Great book for first timers, enjoyed this book thoroughly. I really enjoyed how long it was, and wasn't full with fluff. The narrator performance was a bit on the bland side but other than that. If you are a first timer and don't want to kill your business, this book is for you.
