Outback Terror

Sienna is a young woman trying to succeed at running a sheep ranch in the Outback of Australia. Her world is turned upside down when she is caught in a rare tornado while driving along the road. She becomes an unintentional hero when she averts disaster for a family going on holiday. Soon, she finds herself on TV and drawing the attention of viewers, one of whom is out for revenge.

Damien has returned to Australia from the US after his friend and fellow SEAL, George, is shot in the head while they are working as mercenaries in Mexico. George is given a very slim chance at survival due to his injury and Damien decides to go on holiday after the death of his mother.

Sienna soon finds herself in a fight for her life as George tries to find Damien and seek revenge for his (supposed) betrayal. The plot brings these unlikely characters together in several tense encounters, all while Sienna is trying to decide whether or not to pursue a relationship with Marcus, temporarily assigned as a policeman in her area.

The action is well-paced and I found myself listening long after I needed to do other things in order to see what would happen next. There were plenty of twists in the plot and I was kept guessing up until the end. The characters were well-developed, the writing was great and the author's descriptions of life in the Outback were especially good.

The narrator did a great job and added a lot to my enjoyment of the audiobook. I was given the chance to listen to this audiobook by the publisher and chose to review it.

Exciting!

WOW! Pam Farley has written a story that will stand your hair on end. That includes the hair on your arm. This one has it all! Wesley Nelson was perfect narrating it. He put so much emotion into the voices, I actually thought I was watching it all in person.

Terror and Love in Australia

This was a story of a headstrong young woman sheep farmer in the outback. It starts with a Tornado coming through knocking power lines down. At same time a couple of ex- marine buddies are in Mexico when one gets shot in the head and his buddy not trusting Mexican physicians has his friend taken back home to Australia. A different title could be the man who wouldn't die! Narrator does an good job with the various characters and the Entire Storyline.

I love a good mystery!!

I really enjoyed this book. I little Romance combined with danger & excitement.
I was seriously having trust issues. At one point I was very angry because of something that happened. Since there was an HEA, I got over it. lol
The narration was pretty good. I heard him swallow a couple of times but due to the nature of this story I wasn’t entirely sure it wasn’t him playing the part of a nervous or scared character.
I would recommend this book.
