Great little short story

What did you love best about Hell Hounds Are For Suckers?

I liked the narrators voices- well done. Also, the female lead wasn't whiney, going on and on ad nauseum. She had interesting friends that give s**t because they give a s**t about their friends. I'll explore this series further.

Any additional comments?

Valerie Gilbert is awesome! Love the British accent on the Gin. :)

This is such a fun story!

I was needing something light hearted to read and this book was perfect. I laughed pretty hard when she first met the dog. I have had 3 Great Danes so I totally understand about the drool.

The Hellhound!

I really enjoyed this story written by Jessica McBrayer. I loved the he'll hound and the fued that Hannah and the actual owner start having. This story is fun, shorty, and keeps you begging for more.

Narrator Valerie Beth Gilbert did a fantastic job with this story. I felt like I was there throughout the story. The only problem I had with this story was it was just too short. Overall, a perfect 5 star rating!

East Bay Vamp!

The second book in series, "Hell Hounds," is the kick-ass counterpoint about the afterlife and love-life of kick-ass vampiress, Hannah's, and a love interest with some serious mojo of his own!

Who doesn't love a hell hound!

Hell Hounds was a quick read, but a laugh-out-loud addition to this series I love. Vampires, demons, hell hounds and a whole lot of laughs. The narrator really enhances the fun with just the right timing and intonation. I highly recommend Jessica McBrayer's vampire series to anyone who likes their vampires with a twist of humor.

Can YOUR dog bark fire?

I'm a *sucker* for books with dogs of any kind, and this was only novella size, so it was a no-brainer for me. Superpuppy finds young vampire and falls in love. Hannah, not as much, but takes him home and falls in love more each day. But there is something different about him, besides his growth rate. Enter the demon. He claims prior ownership, and then the real fun begins!
Valerie Gilbert nails the performance with a real You Are There quality!
