Publisher's summary

Stephen Fry brings the richness of these magical stories to life in the original British recordings.

'There will be three tasks, spaced throughout the school year, and they will test the champions in many different ways ... their magical prowess - their daring - their powers of deduction - and, of course, their ability to cope with danger.'

Treat your ears to a performance so rich and captivating you'll imagine yourself in the halls of Hogwarts. Wherever you listen, the unmistakable voice of Stephen Fry is guaranteed to guide you ever more deeply into this magical story and transport you to the heart of the adventure.

The Triwizard Tournament is to be held at Hogwarts. Only wizards who are over seventeen are allowed to enter - but that doesn't stop Harry dreaming that he will win the competition. Then at Hallowe'en, when the Goblet of Fire makes its selection, Harry is amazed to find his name is one of those that the magical cup picks out. He will face death-defying tasks, dragons and Dark wizards, but with the help of his best friends, Ron and Hermione, he might just make it through - alive!

Theme music composed by James Hannigan

Having become classics of our time, the Harry Potter stories never fail to bring comfort and escapism. With their message of hope, belonging and the enduring power of truth and love, the story of the Boy Who Lived continues to delight generations of new listeners.

AMAZING!!!

You should read this book because it has some exciting bits. For example the part when Harry is on his broomstick and no one knows if he is going to survive the Hungarian Horntail or not. My favourite character in the book is probably Cho Chang because I feel like Harry likes her, so I want to like her too. I would give this book a five star rating as it is very entertaining. I would recommend it for children and adults above 9 years old because it is quite scary at the end.

Great Read

These books are sooo very well narrated! Stephen Fry does such an amazing job narrating…and well of course the success of the Harry Potter franchise speaks for itself. No need to comment on the plot/storyline.

Maybe a little biased

I’ve been fan of Harry Potter since the first book came out and I was very young so I might not be very objective to rate. But I just love these books so much and no one better to read them than Stephen Fry

Incredible 🎩

Stephen Fry makes the story so immersive, the way he plays every character with their own expressions and rhythms is outstanding.

I hope they give him a role in the new Harry Potter series in HBO, would be really funny and deserved. 😂

I love the Harry Potter books.

I've read them all many times over. I had a cassette tape I listened to many years ago that was very good, and, although I like Stephen Fry as and actor and enjoy listening to him opine on many subjects because of his wit and intelligence, I didn't love his narration of this book. The only voice I thought he really got perfectly was Hadgrid's. I will still buy the other audio books from the series because I enjoy listening to my favorite books as I am doing other things during the day like driving, housework and gardening. I have been listening the the C. B. Strike series, also by J.K. Rowling. that narrator is better, in my opinion.
