A tale of horror and romance...

The Rich City Slicker

Journey Baral met Pious on a night out and was immediately interested in him, but after only one dance, they had a fight that sent Pious stomping off into a snow-filled night. Journey found the whole encounter humorous, though he did feel a little bad for causing issues, but he brushed off the incident. Days later, a peculiar hunger strikes Journey, and his life quickly runs off the rails.

The Farmer—and Hex Meister

Pious Sturms hexed himself. He didn’t mean to stir up trouble, but a hex is the only explanation for the barrage of bad luck that has been following him around. Everything in Pious’ life has been going downhill since he got home from a visit to the city. One dark night, Journey, the man Pious has been thinking about nonstop since he met him, turns up on his doorstep, and Pious is horrified to realize he didn’t only hex himself, he hurt Journey, too.

Will Pious be able to fix this magical problem before it is too late, or will Pious and Journey both be consumed by the hex in the end?

Gutsy is a spooky horror romance, so be prepared for your heart to race with fear as Journey and Pious fight for their happily ever after!

Well Done

This book is well done and well written but it is not something I would normally read. It's pretty dark and gruesome and the romance doesn't really start until half way through and I would say it ends more HFN than HEA. That said, even though it's not my cup of tea, I can still recognize a good book for people who are fans of dark romance or horror romance.

Two Men and A Hex!

This is the sequel to No Peeking! It was fantastic to catch up with Noble and his Detective Walker! One thing I will tell you about this story, when you start listening, you will wonder how there could possibly be love and romance! This book has very dark humor and it is quite kinky in a dark way too! Pious is a country boy in the city and Journey sets his sights on him! This first encounter does not go so well, but accidentally has some lasting effects on both of them! I do not want to give anything away because I think the shock factor is part of what this romance is all about! And yes, beneath the gruesome spookiness there is a love story! Perfect read for the upcoming Halloween month! Keval the narrator has the perfect voice for setting the darker atmosphere of this story!

loved it.

I loved this book. It is super creepy. Keval Shah's voice really brings this spooky tale and characters to life. Pious Sturms met Journey Baral. They go dancing. They have one fight that accidently hexed them both. Will they both be able to solve the problem out or will it destroy them both?

Gutsy

A dark and compelling story about love and just what can happen if you are not careful. Two men from two different worlds meet and collide. When anger and frustration take the forefront in their initial meeting things take a bad turn. Journey and Pious learn the hard way that words can hurt. I enjoyed watching these two find their way. The bad luck that Pious has endured has turned into is something much more for Journey. As the two try to undo what has been done, they find something precious that they must fight for and if they lose it will not be the only thing that they lose. . Narrator Keval Shah does a good job of bringing these characters and their world to life and I was immersed in their story right from the start.

Yeesh

I had so much hope, cause while the first book had its flaws I also seriously enjoyed it. This book on the other hand, fell flat for me. The most interesting part is when the hex begins to take hold of Journey, and then it just gets kind of ridiculous. And the ending was… meh.
