About this listen

A merciless wilderness. A harrowing attack. A desperate escape.

When a tragic accident sidelines Miley's dreams of Olympic gold, she takes a summer job at a mountain guest lodge. The Frank Church Wilderness is remote, but it's the perfect place to train and recover.

Local lore about a staffer who died years ago doesn't scare her. But it should.

Miley's plans take a terrifying detour when she's abducted during a morning run. Held captive in a desolate off-grid cabin, she'll have to use her athletic prowess, cunning mind, and courage to survive. As the nightmare at the cabin escalates, Miley is forced to form an unlikely alliance and attempt a risky escape.

Can she outwit her captors and survive the wilderness before it's too late?

Inspired by true events, Gray After Dark is a pulse-pounding psychological thriller with a finale that will leave you breathless.

Loved it so much!

Great performance. Loved this book! So good. Legit reason why women pick to be stuck with a bear in the woods than a man

Definitely a Thriller

It took a few chapters to get going, but once it kicked into gear, it was full speed ahead. I just spent the last 6 hours unable to fall asleep or press pause.

First story I've found this heart-pounding and intense since No Exit by Taylor Adams.

Triggering for victims of DV/SA, but the more disturbing scenes weren't detailed or graphic. Enjoyed the story, was rooting for the characters.

Great listen

Really loved this book. Narrating was great. Great story. Kind of puts the bear and the man trend going around into great perspective!

Great Story

I just loved how I kept thinking that I knew what was going to happen in the upcoming events. However, I was continually surprised and intrigued. I thought the narration was excellent as well.

Intriguing!!!

This book was absolutely addicting. Such a great story of overcoming something awful. I haven’t read a story this good in so long.

Couldn’t stop listening

This was a great book. I anticipated it after reading several books from this author. I live in Boise so it’s fun for me to hear all the books based around our area.
The narrators were wonderful.

Such a great story!

Character deaths demolish me so that’s the only downfall of any book for me lol

Wow!!!

This is the best book I’ve listened to. I listened to it in one day. Couldn’t put it down. I will look for more books by this author.

Nail Biting

This book had me on the edge of my seat. It said it was based on a true story. I can see it happening but it is scary at the same time. Of course they fabricated the last chapter of the book because we are in 2024 at the moment and they flash forward it to 2026. I hope all is well with the survivors.
