Meaningful and excellent on many levels

I wasn’t sure I would like this book, but in the end, I really did! The author must have either done extensive research on what it’s like to go through cancer, or has been through it herself. There are great spiritual lessons throughout the story, and a look into what real, Biblical faith looks like. I felt sympathetic for the main character, Esther, who was likable and whose character was shaped by her trials. I loved the Biblical story telling, it strongly affected me. The audio was the only downside to the audiobook version. The sound was not crisp and while the author read well enough, I prefer polished readings by trained voices. I’m glad I decided to give this a listen!
