About this listen

A chance encounter leads to an unpredictable Manhattan romance in an irresistible and heartwarming novel from the author of Hello Love.

Greta Hansen has arrived in Manhattan to intern with the Vanderhaven Corporation, a company owned by distant and very wealthy relatives. But she soon realizes she’s actually been hired to keep watch on their capricious daughter, social media celebrity Cece. No last name required. Why bother? The entire Twitterverse already watches every fabulous move she makes. Including an unfortunate shoplifting mishap when Cece decides to go off script. It’s then that a handsome - and homeless - stranger comes to the rescue.

Dalton Bishop has a secret. A man of privilege, he’s been living on the streets as a social experiment. Now, in gracious payback for his chivalry, Cece invites him to an elegant fund-raiser called the Forgotten Man Ball. It’s Greta he’s taken with, however - and to Greta’s surprise, she’s taken right back. But Dalton has one more secret up his tattered sleeve. For right now, though, he’s just happy embracing the woman of his dreams. It’s only the beginning of a romantic and revealing adventure that will take them to a place where money, class, and fame matter far less than true love.

Make for Hallmark

Totally goody goody. Everyone in the book were wonderful people without fault. A childish view of the world.

Started slow but I’m so glad I stuck with it

I ended up really enjoying this audible story. The narrator’s soft voice fit the characters and story line.
I was concerned at first because it seemed that the story was dragging and had changed from what I thought it would be. But, the beauty of audible books is that you can listen while doing other things. So I did. And I’m so glad because the story ended up surprising me. It’s a good listen and I recommend it.

Excellent Story

Listened to the book straight through! Great characters and plot. Made me smile and remember that there are still good people and God puts us where He wants us to be through our lives. Many thanks to the author.

This is a Great book

I didn’t know how this book was going to be but I absolutely loved it. A little glimpse into the life of being a celebrity good and bad, standing up for yourself and a little bit of romance thrown in. Karen McQuestion always writes a feel good book. Can’t wait to read the sequel.

Cute Story

I enjoyed this book. It was a good, clean story with morals. The only negative was that the narrator sounded robotic, which distracted me from concentrating some of the time. Otherwise, bravo!

Good Man, Dalton

An enjoyable story about a recent college graduate who leaves her small Wisconsin town for an internship with her mother's rich cousin's business in New York city for the summer. When she arrives she finds the job is actually as a companion for her second cousin, a socialite internet sensation.

At the same time Greta arrives in NYC, Dalton also arrives to live for two weeks as a homeless man to gather information for a project he wants to start.

I really enjoyed Good Man, Dalton. Because I got my copy from Kindle Unlimited, I was able to read or listen and Tanya Eby did a great job with the narration. Reading and listening to CeCe and Greta as they found themselves and became friends made for a good story and introducing Dalton for Greta and Roger for CeCe added to their stories.

A Good Clean Read

A sweet and hope filled story. I enjoyed Greta, Cece and Dalton's journeys towards love, empowerment, growth and self acceptance. I wouldn't mind reading more about their lives and growth in the future.
