From the bestselling author of These Tangled Vines comes a gripping novel about one woman’s search for answers when her husband vanishes in the night.

Olivia Hamilton is married to the love of her life, Dean, a charismatic pilot who flies private jets for the rich and famous. But when he vanishes over the Bermuda Triangle, Olivia’s idyllic existence unravels. After years of waiting, Olivia must eventually let go of the fragile hope that her beloved husband might still be alive.

Melanie Brown is a particle physicist who spends late nights studying the Bermuda Triangle. But her research interests falter when her mother dies in a tragic accident. Struggling to reboot her life and career, Melanie begins a forbidden love affair with her therapist.

“I started this twisty, page-turning, five-hankie tale and didn’t stop till I was through. The multidimensional characters are artfully drawn, and you care, really care, what happens to them. The end was a bombshell, satisfying to the bone.”—Tanya Anne Crosby, New York Times bestselling author

Fantastic book! Loved it!

I usually do not choose romance because of the all too perfect relationships they describe. But this… this is just wonderful. The mystery woven in with all the mushy bits kept me interested throughout. Surprisingly, the mushy bits also contained real life types of love explained in beautiful writing. I would definitely recommend this book.

A beautiful story of rising and falling and rising again to soar!

Beyond the Moonlit Sea is a tale of passion, loss, betrayal and disappointment that in time teaches what a true love must be; patient, honest, vulnerable and safe. The story and narration are first rate. I finished happy!

Too Long

overall a good story. couple of twists and turns but a little disappointing in the resolution. I felt like the book could have been shortened by 3 or 4 hours and not lost any of the context or feel.

Even with a predictable ending, an enjoyable book

Through the novel’s early chapters, the author laid out the characters very thoroughly. Occasionally, there was a bit too much repeat/too much detail (seemed like filler—we heard of one character’s disturbing family, and his later grief, a bit too often, laid on a bit too thickly), but overall, none of the characters were caricatures, which I greatly appreciated. Too many authors can’t skillfully get their characterizations across without at least some annoying stereotyping.
After a certain event, you can pretty much figure out where the story is going-in one of two directions. As the author relied pretty heavily on one theme, sometimes a bit too many coincidences and mentions of a specific place and theory led a reader to know a bit too much…but she did do a decent job of making the lead-up to the reveal interesting, if not creative, and satisfying .

Unique and interesting story

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were very real. Some of the situations raised legal and ethical questions while creating an understanding of how these mistakes were made. There were many surprises along the way and the author brought things to a satisfying conclusion.

I wasn’t surprised.

I don’t want to ruin this book for anyone but this is a realize situation that I’m sure has happened under different circumstances. I had all types of thoughts about the ending and although it was quite sad I could see each characters reasons for what they did or should have done. Great read!

Good starter

This book looked interesting and was off to a good start, but the characters and the plot did not hold my interest. The ending almost seemed like it belonged to a different book.

I usually love Julianne MacLean’s books but this one missed the mark

I’ve read numerous books by this author and I usually enjoy them all, but this one was hard to follow and disappointing after the first few chapters. I don’t recommend ,
