About this listen

The Alien Legion has a new mission, and this time, they are working for the enemy. Also against the enemy. Like every operation that Emily Perkins plans, it’s complicated. But plans require good intel, and when the plan falls apart, the Mavericks are in freefall....

PLEASE MORE of these and less of the others!!

Don't get me wrong I really enjoy the Expeditionary Force series but I just feel like those are just going too far. Everytime they are about to solve a problem BOOM another one comes up. It just feels like Craig is dragging that series along. This new series on the other hand is fresh and so much more fun. I love the new characters and also how the Mavericks are working with the other species rather than against them. If you have not started this series I would highly recomend it!!!

Brilliant story telling

The combination of creativity, multiple threads, character building, and humor are over the top. Craig Alanson is a Master Story Teller. I laugh out loud at times and frequently stay up far too late because I can’t put it down. Keep the books coming.

I am as much a fan of the Mavericks as I am of Colonel Bishop and Skippy. This story did not let me down. it was great. lots of combat action and lots of plot twist and turns. Highly recommend!!

Wow!

Once again Craig Alanson proves his "Hold My Beer" writing style! Love the Bloopers at the end.

Dam this is good.

I can't get enough of this writers material. The Mavericks story line in Expeditionary Force Universe is brilliant and fun. If your looking for thought provoking plot lines read Tom Clancy but if your looking to have a good time listening to a good story than you cant lose here. I hope Mr. Alan is chained to his desk working hard on Mavericks Book 3 because it cant get here fast enough.

great series

I am totally hooked on this series and the parent series Expeditionary Force. Craig Alanson is an outstanding writer and I can't imagine a better person to preform the books than R. C Bray.

Enjoyed it, but..... why so serious?

I loved the Mavericks and the performance of R C Bray, but would like more of a connection with the base story line. Just a quick connection at the end of the book with our beloved "ghost ship crew" seems a bit too disconnected from the reason I enjoy the series. Plus it seems all too serious, I love the blunders of Joe Bishop and the comic relief of Skippy. I often laugh out loud when listening the the anticsof the Mary band of pirates, which is a great relief for me from my daily life as a Counselor and Social Work in today's reality. However, I did really enjoy the book and thank you for inviting me to your world. Keep em comming!
