I love the story and look forward to the next book

I have to say taht this one has thrown me. I have never been so emotionally thrown as I had near the end of this book. I don't know how I feel about the direction of the book but I hope that the new direction will make it better.

Quite an improvement from the second book

This book was quite an improvement over the second book for a couple of reasons. The first being the end of the second consciousness from the first two books and the other being there is a lot of character growth in the MC.

good story

I think this has been well done. However I find it tedious at times to constantly listen to the character apologize to his wives.

Danny, A Worldly Man

This chapter in the series has Danny exploring the wider reaches of the world and coming in contact with several other species as well as being separated from his harem loved ones. The separation telling of the story was particularly well done as it touched on the psychological effects of long term separation and the fear of loss from the eventual reunion. While there is still a comical nature to this book, it is much more poignant than the previous 2 which, to my mind, was a welcome change of pace.

I really enjoy this series immensely

I enjoyed this book. I find the characters complex the story entertaining and I’m looking forward to the next story. If you enjoy reincarnation LitRPGs you will probably enjoy this story as well. I couldn’t stop listening 3 days for 3 books.

Better than expected

After reading a number of disappointed reviews, ultimately I'm glad I made it through to this book. The payoff at the end was pretty solid and was worth the sometimes odd pacing of the story. Even from the first book, the biggest two issues were 1) The main character frequently behaves in ways that seem slight off from what you might expect based on his personality and 2) it felt a bit like the author couldn't quite decide what genre he was writing in.

Overall, the writing and character building was well above average, especially for anything touching the LitRPG genre. This is what made the inconsistencies mentioned above sometimes cause the story to dip into the uncanny valley.

For what it's worth, I was unreasonably exciting to read the "Flight of the Navigator" reference.

Good ending

The ending, while clearly indicating the direction of the next book, did not end in a cliffhanger or in the middle of a fight. Unlike so many others, this ending was well done.

Good story. Enjoyable.
