Publisher's summary

Dive into a world where love transcends boundaries, from the rugged cliffs of Ireland to the shadowy realms of the Oakdale University. This anthology brings together two captivating tales of romance, each story a testament to the power of love in its many forms.

In our first tale, follow the journey of a young doctor from Australia, seeking adventure and purpose in the lush landscapes of Ireland. What he finds instead is a whirlwind romance that defies expectation, with a woman whose spirit is as wild as the Irish sea. As their lives intertwine in a dance of passion, adventure, and conflict, they discover that love can flourish even in the most unexpected places, challenging them to choose between the lives they know and the love they cannot live without.

The anthology takes a mystic turn with its next story, delving into the realm of the paranormal late night radio. Here, love blossoms in the shadow of the supernatural, where beings from other worlds reveal that the heart's desires are not bound by the laws of nature. Amidst the mysteries and magic, a love story unfolds that proves even in the midst of otherworldly challenges, romance can find a way to ignite hearts and souls, proving that true love is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

Each story in this anthology celebrates the enduring strength of love, inviting listeners on a journey through the varied landscapes of the human—and not-so-human—heart. Whether it's a tale of love found in the rolling hills of Ireland or the enigmatic embrace of the paranormal, these stories promise to enchant, entertain, and evoke the timeless magic of romance.

Engaging characters in both stories

I have always been a huge fan of short stories, and this two-story anthology was a good listen. For people who may not normally listen to romance, please reconsider! These are clean romance stories, that really focus on the people, and are not explicit. I enjoyed both stories, and I am not a large romance reader and I found these to be engaging, both for the characters and the plot of both stories. The first story, Rouge Water, is a beautifully written and narrated story, about the magic of connection with another person. And it did feel magical, almost a fairy tale romance about an unexpected connection that instantly ran deed with another. It has heart, and emotion and I felt utterly connected to the story. The second story is less fairy tale and more urban paranormal romance. Fans of the Dresden Files, or Laurell K Hamilton's books would especially connect to this story and the plot here. It has a very different feel from the first story and that makes for a nice contrast between the two and they work very well as part of the anthology.
