Publisher's summary

The author of Time Windows "has crafted a fine tale of psychological time travel...this well-executed story transports readers into the plot" (School Library Journal, starred review).

Seventeen-year-old Molly's recurrent nightmares become waking visions after she nearly drowns at a party. Soon she's witnessing events through the eyes of a girl who lived in her father's house nearly a century before.

Really Captivating!

This was a really great read. It may have been written before its time, grin.

Lovely bit of nostalgia

This was one of my favorite books as a preteen, I dressed as clementine for book character day at school and everything! I cant say i love the narrator’s voice, another review likened the performance to Siri and honestly they wasnt super off. But i love this book so much that i could look past it. So interesting to revisit a book after growing up, becoming a mom, living life…still cant stand Jen, though, so some things never change! Ha!

Great book!

I listened to this book in three days! Very entertaining story. The narrator did a great job portraying the different personages in the book.

Fun story, robotic narration.

I originally read this book back in the 90s and it was a favorite. Decided to give it a listen for the sake of nostalgia. Story is still fun and I enjoyed reliving the characters i remembered from my childhood read. My only complaint, is the narrator sounds robotic. It sounds like Siri is reading lol. Other than that, I am happy with the purchase.

Robotic Narration

I have read this book yearly for nearly 20 years and never have I read it in the morose, robotic tone that this narrator has done. It makes it almost unlistenable. The narrator’s cadence is off, she ends each sentence with an audible exclamation point. The only time the narrator animates is when she recites dialogue. Too bad, this is one of my favorite books. I’m pretty disappointed.

awful narrator

This woman is an awful narrator. At first I thought it was a robot speaking and reading the words, but I soon figured out that it was an actual person only because when she was speaking for a character she had somewhat of an inflection in her voice. When she was not speaking for a character though, her voice was entirely flat and completely robotic. I have read this book on my own once and it is a fantastic book! It is actually my favorite book! However, this narrator does it no justice whatsoever and if I had wrote the book I would be so mad that this narrator was chosen to read my work of art. I would feel sabataged.
