About this listen

When the FBI prepares to head down to Brazil, Zach gets tapped to join them. Things aren’t going to plan though.

Geists are being created and weaponized around Philly and even drawing the attention of the military.

To solve it, Zach needs to go down to El Dorado and convince them that he’s not like the dragons that came before him and that they need to help him solve Aphrodite’s grand plan.

Because the Archangel of love has no love for Earth and it’s clear her plan is going to cripple the world to save Heaven.

Meh, I guess it was ok

This is according to Mr Sentar, the last AB in the series. I had to finish the series but it could have been a little cleaner. If this AB series would be put in a Omnibus, I would highly recommend to re-edit this entire AB. it seamed really choppy. the voices of course were great and Mr Sentar is one of the best. I did purchase this edition and I would put this in the second tier for recommendation.

the pauses ruin it

the pauses in the audio after every line gave me a headache and I decided to actually read the book because it got so bad great book but whoever edited the audio is just awful

All time favorite series!

I’ve listened to this whole series nearly a dozen times, and some of the earlier books even more as new ones came out. It really is my #1, only Dungeon Diving and Aether’s Revival have competed for that spot in my top 5. I think that says it all, also what a touching end. I really hope Bruce does eventually find a way to continue this story

an okay ending

I'll try and separate my personal opinion from the quality of the story. the writing has been done well and it does appear that there is a method to the madness. in short this author has proven that he can start off a series with a bang. he appears to follow this pattern similar to what I saw in the Eureka TV show where the story starts off as one thing and transitions part way through to something completely different or at least headed in a different direction. then when we get to the ending it appears that the author does something of a soft close so that if in the future he wants to return to the story he can. in my opinion that's fine but with no guarantees his endings are not the greatest. he does seem to follow the other authors in this genre by at least making it to the end of the story which I greatly appreciate. I had started quite a few of his stories before seeing them to the end which is why I stuck through this many books. I'm unsure if I'll pick up any of his new series now that I've finished three of the ones he's completed. that does not mean that he's a bad writer or that you won't enjoy his storytelling. it's just not quite what I'm looking for. as for the narration team they did a fantastic job with their performance. it appears to me that the lady narrator is quite a bit more skilled than the gentleman narrator though in this book The Gentleman narrator gets way more on screen time for lack of a better description. I also want to make it clear that there appears to be some technical issue in the book. I don't know if the power set be thought that it wouldn't be all that noticeable but there are pregnant pauses throughout several of the chapters as we switch between characters which is extremely noticeable and very annoying.

Amazing!

I really hope there’s one more book! I feel like there are one or two loose ends left but other than that it was amazing! 10/10

A very good ending

I am happy with the ending. Wrapped up better than most endings. It gave just enough to feel satisfied but left some to the imagination. I am so sad to see it end but all good things must come to an end.

babies

I love all of Bruce Sentar's books, but this one was less enjoyable than the others. The emphasis on babies was way too much. The real draw back is the image of a bunch of pregnant women, with their powers supposedly being sapped, fighting in a war. The audio book has several over long pauses as well, likely a mess up in editing.
