Publisher's summary

This is one game they can’t afford to lose.

As one of 50 teams, human Sadie and genetically engineered 1213 are thrown together with one mission: outlive the other 49 teams and make it to the finish line.

Between brutal competitors, harsh terrain, and deadly predators, the challenge is as relentless as the feral passion and sweet affection that detonates between them after the sun sets each night.

Can they put aside their differences, work together, and triumph against the odds?

It all comes Down to Two in this standalone book brimming with savage steam, tender love, and heart-pounding action.

Fans of award-winning author Alana Khan be warned: this is a gritty departure from the heartwarming and hopeful science fiction romances of the Alanaverse.

Down to Two contains mature content.

Sweet, sad and spicy

Back to the games but this time they have to pair up and survive. Our hero is Anubis an animal in more ways than one ladies! He gets stuck with the smallest and weakest creature … a human female. Until he realizes how well they work together. Worth the credit

outstanding

hea all the way! I was skeptical about this book because this fact wasn't mentioned. I thought it would be one of those build ups to a cliff hanger. but boy was I so wrong! I love the fact the mfc was pragmatic and logical in her actions instead of the normal damsel in distress. The mmc is the heart of this book. well worth the listen and altho it is a stand alone I will be giving the others a listen now because of this book! looking forward to more of this world as the author unveils it.

Interesting Storyline

The storyline was interesting and kept me listening. The Federation is a piece of work. The characters, minus the Federation were likable. There was similarities between books in the series; and after listening to a bit of what’s to come in the next book, too many similarities, like Human female height. Changing this won’t negatively effect the story. Narrators did a good job with characters. Will continue listening to the series.
