A good book for the family whose kiddo is recently diagnosed

A majority of the book felt like it talked about what Autism is, rather than the coping strategies. I liked how the author explained the differences between tantrums and meltdowns of a child with Autism. I had a high expectation from the other reviews but I didn't find too much new information or strategies.
