Fun, sassy, contemporary supernatural romance
What a fun listen this was! The narrator was so believable -- absolutely embodied a 20-something woman balancing cynicism and her desire to be the best person she can, while wrapped up in a fun fantasy story and the arms of a hot genie. Great voices and intonation, so much fun to listen to. I thought 11.5 hours might be too long, but the story and the reader kept me totally engaged the whole time. This is a great choice for some lightweight, fluffy, fun storytelling about a sympathetic pair of lead characters.

Super Fun Fantasy and Lovely Narration!
I enjoyed Dolly's cautious and skeptical approach to her sexy wish grantor and her willingness to go on the adventure. I loved the twist as we approached the end, much like the anticipation of cresting the hill on the roller coaster and finally going over. The narrator was beautifully dynamic with all the characters and truly brought each one to life.

good book
I listened to this book on Audible and while i found it entertaining; I believe it would have better to just read the book.
The narrator did a good job with the female characters but the her male voices were underwhelming.
The narration definitely negatively impacted my thoughts on this books so this will be kept short and sweet.
This was first Djinn book and first book by this author. Well done.

Captivating narration of djinn, wishes & romance!
What a delightful adventure this audiobook brought me on while capturing my attention from beginning to end. The narrator's deft performance truly transports listeners into the magical world of djinn and wishes. The story follows the captivating tale of a young, sardonic woman (Dolly) who unintentionally unleashes a powerful genie (Velis) who, despite his initial reluctance, falls head over heels for his unexpected new master. Their journey takes listeners across fantastical lands, daring escapes, and intense romance that leaves one breathless with anticipation. I especially loved their playful banter and how their chemistry unfolds while helping one another heal from their insecurities and past emotional trauma. The narrator’s expressive vocal range adds exceptional depth to the characters, nimbly conveying every character's personality, desire, and emotion with ease while bringing the sensuality to life. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend this audiobook as a true gem of storytelling, with the phenomenal narrator's performance elevating the already delightful fantasy romance story to new heights. Enjoyed the book and LOVED the narrator!
The story was brought to life in such vivid detail and the dialogue was superb. I adored getting to know Dolly and her genie, and by the end, I felt like I was fully a part of their world. The book left me with a sense of excitement for their story to continue!

received an audiobook code of this book for free from the author and am voluntarily leaving a review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Our delightfully snarky FMC Dolly made a mistake almost a year before the events of Come True. Tricky things is…..Dolly's memory of the mistake in question is pretty hazy... in fact, she doesn't remember it at all. In any case and though her peers have all punished her thoroughly for it, she's unsatisfied and decides to take things into her own hands; punishing herself by foregoing any and all indulgences for a full year.
So of course it stands to reason that after she gives in to the inexplicable urge to plant a smooch upon the surface of the vase she acquired thrifting and it summons the witty and equally as sarcastic Velis, a djinn who seeks to grant her wishes in exchange for her soul as quickly as possible so he can move onto his next Master and complete the process all over again in hopes of winning a competition with his three villainous step-brothers, Dolly is perplexed and reasonably annoyed. She does not want to make any wishes, and she certainly does not believe in genies. All she wants is to be left alone to complete the final two weeks of her punishment and move on with her life.
Of course, Velis has other ideas. The ensuing chaos takes us on a wild adventure -complete with romance, no shortage of humor or sarcastic banter, a little bit of time travel and a whole lot of self discovery, healing, and forgiveness. Come True has a little something for us all.
This was my first genie romance, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! Nothing shy of charming and magical. I finished in one sitting - it was light, easy to follow, and really just a lot of fun to listen to. Looking for something that will have you laughing out loud at times? Look no further. The banter between Dolly and Velis was EVERYTHING.

Loved it!!
I devoured this book in one sitting!! I was enthralled with the audiobook. The narrator, Erin Chma. The chemistry between Dolly and Velis is so good! They had me grinning like a fool. And the brothers. Oh my gosh. They give off bad boy vibes. Love it!

So much fun!
This book was so unexpected and fun! It's definitely not my usual genre, but I was quickly sucked into the story and loved every minute! The narrator was spunky and engaging and really brought the characters to life!
