Publisher's summary

They might be richer than gods, but they’re morally bankrupt. As far as the boys who run America’s most exclusive international academy are concerned, I’m an unwelcome interloper, an inconvenience, and they’re determined to make my life a living hell.

When Wren Jacobi sets eyes on Wolf Hall Academy’s newest inductee, all he sees is an easy mark. A reserved little girl with a target painted on her back. He knows nothing of my troubled past, though. Nothing of my mother’s suspicious death or the horrific treatment I’ve had to endure at the hands of my psychotic father. And he has no idea of the lengths that I, unassuming little Elodie Stillwater, will go to in order to break the savage beast who dreams of breaking me first.

There’s a wolf stalking the forests that surround my new school. Little does he know, there are far scarier predators lurking out there in the dark.

From a USA Today best-selling author comes a new, dark, and delicious world, where even the most corrupt of hearts has a chance at redemption. This book contains content that may be considered a trigger for some listeners and as such is recommended for adults.

Good story

I thought the book was overall good and I didn’t think the woman’s narration was bad like the reviews said. However I do think it’s a bit unrealistic that teens are this experienced sexually, but the dude on the cover is hot which is what peaked my interest.

Who won the game?

This is the first book I have listened to/read from this author. The story was good definitely didn’t it going the way that it did. I didn’t care for the female reader but it didn’t rein the story.

Wren who?

Love the story line. It kept me on my toes. I must admit the ending was swift but I can appreciate their are upcoming novels over Dash and Pax. Callie Hart did a great job, per usual, telling modern stories with a dark twist.

Surprised in the best possible way

This book surprised me, i was oddly very happy with it. The plot was epic and the love story was wholesome. Wren was the dick .. but he will surprise you…and Elle was feisty formidable young lady..
love the story and I am itching to see what the other Riot boys do.
Its a must read good read

Riot House

While a little slow to start, this book eventually found its speed and won me over. Admittedly, I didn’t warm up to the characters as much as I would like until the end. Definitely worth the read and I look forward to the others.

AWESOME!!

I came across this book when it first came out on Kindle and was obsessed with it...especially Wren! since then I waited impatiently for the audio and it was worth the wait! Female narrarator is good, but the male narrator was phenomenal!! And usually I am not one for caring so much about a book cover, but I am not sure why but picturing the guy on the cover as Wren just makes it all the more sexier!

Good book

I enjoyed this book. I do wish there was a better wrapup but I’m assuming we will hear more about Wren and Eloise’s story. The story just abruptly ended. The narrators were fantastic!

I want to be a Riot Girl!

I read this book when it came out and I loved it. The audiobook was even better. I especially loved the male narrator. It’s my first book narrated by him and I’d like to listen to more of his work. Riot House is kind of a bully book but not full on like some others out there. A lot of the stuff I’d consider extreme happened more in the past and it’s only mentioned. That said you will definitely feel for what the heroine has gone through especially when she lived with her father. And Wren, well he is not a good person at the beginning. He has his own agenda when Elody arrives. Since we also get his POV we get to see how his feelings slowly change. The Riot boys are definitely trouble and I can’t wait to find out what’s in store for Pax and Dash. There is a mystery surrounding the school and the events that happened the year prior to Elody’s arrival. Lots of secrets so be ready!

Narration was amazing! The male was perfect for Wren. The female is a solid 4 stars for me. It’s just personal preference so you may love her voice.
