About this listen

From the bestselling author of the #Lovestruck novels comes a rousing romance about following your dreams, second chances, and playing the game of love.

Disgraced college quarterback Logan Hunt was on his way to NFL stardom when he messed up big-time. Now the Texas star player with a bad temper has a new option: Seattle’s EOL College—as in End of the Line, to his fellow misfit recruits. It’s Logan’s last chance. If he can follow the rules. No parties, no fighting, no swearing, and oh, no dating the coach’s daughter, Jess. Simple. Yeah, right. For Logan, there has never been a rule he’s more tempted to break.

The deal is “just friends.” The pretty, confident, and fiercely smart math whiz is fine with pizza, tutoring, and keeping Logan in line. But the closer Jess gets, the more receptive she is to his warm heart and spirit—not to mention his irresistible off-field passes. With defenses down, they’re both heading into the danger zone.

It’s more than thrilling. It’s love. It’s also a game changer that could sideline Logan’s NFL goals—and more important, a future with Jess. But dreams are worth fighting for, right?

Sweet YA story

Sweet story...this is the last chance that Logan has at playing football and a chance at the NFL....but it comes with many rules...most important is stay away from girls. So will it be total disaster when his math tutor is non other than the coach’s daughter?

Enjoyable clean romance story

I enjoyed the story as the friendship developed into a strong love. I highly recommend this story for the young adult reader.

cute story

I really liked this story...just one critique, chapters 24 & 25 are flipped, not in the correct order.

Cute slow burn

I bought this audio as a special price with the ebook and it was a surprisingly enjoyable story. A slow burn for sure, but sweet and a quick listen.

Solid story

This was the first book I'd read by Sariah Wilson. I admit that I mostly picked up this book based on the cover and title... and that it is part of Kindle Unlimited that also gives you access to the audio version.

This is a clean romance with characters in their early 20s and in college. I don't think it quite falls into the new adult category (not really angsty enough), but in general the characters were a little too young for my tastes. That said, I did like the book. Logan is trying to put his life together when he gets a second chance with a football scholarship to a junior college. And Jess is the coach's daughter who is supposed to be off limited. Both characters have a lot to deal with to get to their happily ever after.

The audio is a dual narration. The chapters pretty much flipping between the male and female narrators depending on which character's POV is being featured in that chapter. I actually enjoyed this. And I think my only real complain about the performances is that the male's southern accent almost seemed forced or exaggerated. It grated early in the book, but by the end it wasn't as noticeable

This is book 1 in a new series and I'm kinda interested to see where it'll go. So I'll most likely pick up book 2 when it's available..

Rabid Reader

Loved this book! Laughed out loud many times during the read. A little steam but nothing uncomfortable. Very engaging side characters, and predictable but great ending!

Sweet College Love Story

College jock romances with a healthy dose of humor are my catnip and this sweet romance fit that niche perfectly. This was my first Sariah Wilson book, and I will definitely check out more of her titles. I really enjoyed the fact that the book had plenty of romance, but did not have graphic sex scenes. These narrators were also new to me, and I really enjoyed both of them. I am really picky about female narrators and Whitney Dykhouse was excellent. I found her voice to be both refreshing and expressive. She did a fantastic job with some of the more emotional scenes. I read one review where they thought Scott Merriman sounded too old for the part, but I thought he was excellent. He infused his parts with lots of humor, without being over-the-top, and made me love Logan. I recommend it.

The Friend Zone

This was a fun NA book with not much substance but a lot of fluff. Logan Hunt is a quarterback who was first string at a Texas college until he was cut because of a bar fight and now he has landed in Seattle at EOL or as it is also refered to End Of the Line. This is all good until he and the other players find out the coach has unreal rules, no parties, no swearing, no drinking, and no girls. This does not go over good for some but since Logan needs the scholarship he is going to do what he needs to do to fulfill the coaches rules. Standing in his way is the coaches daughter, Jess. She is assigned as his math tutor and the chemistry is instant and combustible. Try as they might to keep it friends, feelings develop and when feelings get involved everything else falls into place. As I said, this was a fun read and now I'm looking forward to the next in the series and seeing what Bash gets into.
