About this listen

A small-town fashion designer, a handsome local contractor, and the charming doctor passing through town to sell his family estate. Two eligible bachelors, but only one man will find true love in this love triangle.

Chloe has finally returned home to stay, embracing the simple lifestyle of Eron. She opens her own fashion boutique and is contemplating a relationship with a guy who has plans to start a family.

Chloe’s own plans to settle for her local suitor are disrupted when a charming doctor walks into her boutique, opening up new dating options.

Dr. Zach has never been a man to settle in one place. When Zach’s unknown grandparents leave him a house in Colorado on 40 acres of land, Eron is supposed to be just another quick stop. That is, until the town’s only doctor gets hurt.

When the town starts depending on him for their medical needs, Zach finds himself getting more involved in the town than he’d bargained for. Especially when he falls for the beautiful fashion designer who knows more about his grandparents than he’d expected.

It's a love by design, but can Zach outsmart his competitor, or is he too late to win Chloe's heart?

Fantastic

I absolutely love this story! It is filled with wishes, lost hope and amazing characters. This really pulled me in from the beginning and I couldn’t put it down. Andy Garcia-Ruse does an amazing job portraying the characters, bringing them to life and humanizing them with their emotions, attitude and personality.

lovely

Audio:
I’ve been spoiled by mainly listening to Jay Dyess as a narrator and most other narrators just aren’t up to his level. I was pleasantly surprised by Andy's performance! She got the voices and the inflections. I didn’t have to think about character changes, I could just immerse myself in the story.

Story:
This was a good small town romances with good characters. There were a lot of characters and it did get a bit overwhelming tying to remember everyone and their various connections.

Choices are not always easy

Chloe finds making a choice between 2 men difficult. Zach's personality wins her over, however. I liked how everything worked out. I love listening to audiobooks. I like how the narrator can change the voice to fit the characters. I received a free copy. This is my voluntary review.

Choices may not always be easy, but putting God first will lead to the right decision

It seems that the difficult choices in the book are secondary to putting human plans and assumptions first, but once love and God are first, things become less complicated. I enjoyed the book and have enjoyed all Rose Fresquez’s books. Some others may be better but I would recommend. I thought the performance of Andy Garcia-Ruse was good.

Seeking God in the choices we make

Chloe's life seems laid out for her as she returns to Eron to care for her grandmother and disabled parents. They've chosen a boyfriend for her who is the town's sweetheart. But is he the right man for her?

When Zach Eron, grandson of the town's founder, breezes into town, Chloe's world is turned upside down.

The friendship that Zach and Chloe had started in childhood picks up again leaving both of them questioning the choices they each have in front of them. And is choosing their hearts' desires the right thing to do when others may be hurt in the process?

I enjoyed listening to this story and seeing what choices they would ultimately make. However, there were some issues with the narration. In one case, the wrong word was spoken (a "boutique" of flowers), and in others, the pauses between words were unnatural. So that did detract someone from the listening experience for me. But overall, this is an enjoyable, faith-centered story of two good people God has brought together.

A very nice story

I really liked the story and wish all the books in the series were available. It gives a better picture of the story. What was not pleasant was the voice of Noah and a few other characters that sounded like children were narrating the story. It was confusing since it was a mature subject. I would still recommend the story because it was enjoyable.

Wonderful

Choices: An Eron Romance is a wonderful sweet and clean romance. The storyline is beautiful and encouraging in these times of unrest. I like that the author was able to portray passion without raunchiness. The characters are interesting, relatable, and descriptive. I really enjoyed the writing style, as it played out like a movie in my mind’s eye. The narrator gave a pleasant listening experience.

Another enjoyable time with friends in Eron

In this book we get to meet Zach, a Dr. and missionary! Of course he is handsome and rich lol! But more than that he's a man of integrity, I really liked his character. Noah is the handyman and carpenter of Eron. I didn't really care for him as I found him to be a charmer. In the end he too had found a place in my heart. Chloe is a clothing designer with a boutique in Eron, but she is also such a sweet lady as she does much to help anyone in need. I really loved Chloe's grandma Jeannie she is a woman after God's heart and she will pray for every situation that needs it. I also enjoyed getting to know Jules, Chloe's childhood friend that helps run her business. Jules is a funny character that will make you laugh out loud at the words that come from her mouth! Nothing is held back with Jules! This trip to Eron was fun with all the angst the characters put themselves through. A really great book, which the narrator does a great job with!
I received a free code for this book from the publisher. This review is my own honest opinion.

This book started out good But...

Things were going good until she, who just couldn't upset Noah goes blank on Zach, who she does love and then she disappears, wasting time they didn't have and causing stress over nonsense. You would have thought she was new to the situation and had just found out he was leaving. I thought she acted childish and all of it was unnecessary. Then she feels so bad for breaking Noah's heart ❤ she dances with him anyway, but she didn't want him to get the wrong idea....He can't let go even when he knows she is in Love with Noah, a sucker for punishment. The story was okay and I did like how they talked to the Lord but she threw me off the book, its not a keeper.
