Publisher's summary

If you feel stuck on a long road of struggle, pain, and limiting patterns, therapy isn’t always enough to get on a better path. Your implicit memories control the navigation of your entire life, and they take root in your subconscious during childhood.

You can’t build a time machine to change what happened in your childhood, but with the right tools, you can learn how to rebuild negative childhood memories into positive empowerment.

Combining neuroscience, psychology, and personal experiences, Change What Happened to You shares Odille and Steve Remmert’s unique, proven memory-editing process with the power to transform your mind, behavior, and happiness. With step-by-step techniques for foundational self-love, this guide will help you change your implicit memories so you can heal from the negativity of your childhood and reroute your life toward the positive destination you desire.

You’re about to learn:

  • Three steps to change negative childhood memories without blame, guilt, or shame.
  • How your childhood shapes your self-image, worldview, and beliefs in adulthood - and why that can make healthy habits difficult.
  • Techniques to gain control over your brain chemistry and produce more “feel-good” chemicals in times of stress.
  • The Due Justice Technique, a simple way to overcome complex generational trauma and anxiety regarding certain memories.
  • Zero-tolerance strategies to silence negative self-talk before it derails your journey.

Give that little you the childhood you should have had - and still deserve. Listen to Change What Happened to You and start on a new road of an abundant, empowered, and positive life.

The authors seem to really care about their readers.

I like that the authors of the book read it to us and the examples they gave.

All about the kindness

Book review
Truly, one of humanity’s kindest books, written by two of the world’s (presumably)kindest authors. From their 3 pillars to their several, diverse stories of personal and of others’s accomplishments , the proof that their method works ,is easy for anyone to understand and use is only a quick listen/read away. They seem to be all about the feeling that we live a happy and joyful existence and that is why I feel extraordinarily grateful to have people of their caliber(again, presumably)in my corner. What a great book!

Practical advice, clearly written

This book is full of practical advice that work. The explanations are clear, very well organized, and the authors' use of metaphors makes the book easy to relate to. There is some repetition but these serve to highlight important areas and were not annoying. The book is read by the authors, which can be a hit or miss for me, and this one was great. You can listen to the first 9 chapters on-line for free to get the basics, this is how I started and decided to by the book because it was so good. I definitely recommend it to everyone.
