About this listen

Are you addicted to your cell phone, the internet, and social media, and do you suffer from anxiety when you try to detox from your smart phone or your digital devices?

Smartphone and social media addiction has become so endemic over the past few years it has even been given a name, Nomophobia!

Nomophobia is made up of the words no, mobile, and phobia, and represents the fear of being without your phone, or fear of missing out on what is going on in the internet connected world. However, within the world of injurious smartphone and computer use, you will find other harmful habbits such as an addiction to social media, email checking, or computer games. In breaking addiction to your smartphone, you will also be breaking any other connected addictions as well.
Addiction to phone use and social media causes mental distress, self-injurious behavior among young people, and increases feeling of loneliness according to research published in medical journals. Smartphone addicted people tend to be less happy than their peers who take part in real-world activities.

Overuse of phones also severely impact brain functioning. Concentration is affected, and constant distraction from notifications trains you into becoming more distractible.

If you are affected by overuse of your phone, it’s time to take back control. These smart phone addiction affirmations have been created to help you do just that! Use these affirmations regularly to change your mindset, which makes it much easier for you to take control over your phone and digital devices instead of them controlling you.

Use in combination with a full digital detox program for even better results!

Regular daily use in combination with other techniques such as switching off notifications, turning your phone off at work, removing social media apps, and other practical techniques should soon quench the desire to constantly check your phone.

A good audio to detoxify ourselves from digital

We must realize how connected we are with our phones or social networks. This audiobook is powerful. It has some affirmations that reach you deep inside your subconscious. I recommend it to everyone who is attached to their cell phone and cannot live without it for one hour of the day.

Guide yo overcome nomophobia.

I think nomophobia is very common everywhere now. I also suffer from it because I have a lot of work on my cell phone, but then, after a time, I realized that, in spite of having work, I have slowly become addicted to it.

This book is all I have needed for a long time, although I'm trying my best not to become nomophobic, but the writers gives the best affirmation in this book that helps me even more to realize how i'm addicted to my cell phone.

The narrator also plays a major role in helping me to learn these affirmations, so that from now on I'll try my best to stay away from social media and only use them for some specific time and try to enjoy organic life around me.

Important And Relevant

Words can't possibly express important and relevant a book like this is. Since we live in a society where our lives are absorbed by the internet and staring at our smart phones, such a luxury has become quite a bit like alcohol in a way. Interpersonal communication skills have dwindled, information and misinformation are always at a tug-of-war, everything is less about the individual and more about the group, etc. Not saying that the internet is bad thing overall. The best way to describe it is a mixed blessing. People are given much more opportunity to make them known, be it for better or worse, but there are always those who put their problems out into the online space without thinking of the consequences. Thus, revealing who they really are. Just like alcohol, such an addiction can be controlled. All the more reason why this book needs to be recommended.

A NECESSARY BOOK FOR DIGITAL DETOX!

I'm writing this quickly because the most of my applications currently have a deadline. I now only use my phone for a little over an hour a day, and I want to use it even less. Yes, our lives are on our phones, but is it really a good thing?

This book has changed my life. You'll read it with your mouth agape and substantially cut down on phone use. I would interact with strangers, endure trolling, and leave Facebook feeling agitated and anxious. Yes, I would use it right away after getting out of a horrible night's sleep. It's a terrible tool, but we can utilise it to our advantage rather than let it use us. then take advantage of all the free time you'll have.

These affirmations were so helpful, alongside the narration to help understand the detox. Would totally recommend this book!!

Very good

I recently listened to the audiobook "Cell Phone Addiction & Digital Detox Affirmations," and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. As someone who has struggled with phone addiction, this audiobook was a lifesaver. The narrator did an excellent job of explaining the concept of Nomophobia and the harm it can cause to our mental health and well-being. The affirmations provided were robust and easy to implement in my daily routine. Combining these affirmations with a complete digital detox program has made a noticeable difference in my life. I highly recommend this audiobook to anyone looking to regain control of their phone and digital devices. Five stars all the way!"
