Wow! Great book, great history!

I never knew that this amazing man had so much involvement with civil rights and put himself out there as much as any other famous black man did. What a strong, lovely and committed wife who did the same. Thank you both and thank you for writing this (and the other books I ordered hard copies of) and for giving me a history education not found in schools anywhere!

He knew everyone!

I love all of Dick Gregory’s books. I don’t agree with all of his thought processes but the story telling is wonderful.

great Book

as usual I shared a few tears while listening to this book. not only every American should read/ listen to this book but also black people around the globe should know about dick Gregory and how much of himself he gave for the liberation and Betterment of his people and people who didn't look like him.

Dick Gregory was one of the last if not the last TRUE Humanist of our time.

Phenomenal

I didn’t know what to expect when I started listening to his book, but there were a lot of things that I had to look up people I never heard of before situation I had never heard of before, and I had to learn some things. So when I say his book enlighten me to his own family struggles and those of his peers around him he did just that. I’ll recommend his book to anyone and I will probably buy it so I can make my notes on the side margin.

Wow!

Amazing glimpse into our not so distant past. This story took me through a lot of emotion. Will we ever learn from the lessons of our past?

This is a bad buy for me

This book is the same narration as the the other book I bought from Audible under a different name called Nigger by Dick Gregory. Can I be refunded??
