About this listen

Creating a new House of Magic is hard work. Aria knew she had a tall task ahead of her, cleaning up the mess her family had made in the Nine Realms, but nothing could have prepared her for the horrors that awaited within the Nine Realms.

Dark magic has taken hold of the lands as Aria finds herself in the middle of an ongoing war while playing cat and mouse with Knox, who hunts her relentlessly.

To make matters worse, Aria's creature has grown impatient and is doing everything she can to get back to the monster within Knox, even knowing that Aria's heart is on the line.

How far will Aria go to protect those she loves from Knox's wrath? How long can she evade the man stalking her every waking hour as her body and mind fight against the growing need for him to claim her? Can she break the curse that has plagued the Hecate bloodline for more than 500 years while protecting her heart?

Maybe the answers lie with the mysterious silver-haired men who have come to Aria's aid, or perhaps they are just like everyone else wanting to kill or claim her, realizing she is the key to winning the war. Aria intends to bring the Nine Realms and the male stalking her to their knees in this fast-paced, action-packed, and sexy epic fantasy adventure.

Action-packed epic fantasy that will leave you breathless and cheering on the underdog.

I have become even more addicted

As this story has progressed the world building and character development is increasingly satisfying. I need the next book in audible because I've read it and now I need to hear it! truly loved the narration and can't wait to hear the next one.

I loved it

I have the kindle version and loved that and the Aubdible was amazing. The um sounds are fantastic. the duet of chapters intertwined is wonderful. for those who complain about the adult scenes, maybe you need more of them in your own life. Amelia has another that she makes fun times brutal and a storyline that rips your heart out. Hey, atleast she warns us first!!!

Love the story.

I really enjoyed the story. Can’t wait to find out if Knox finds happiness with the Aria or if she finds love with someone else. I wish they would have used the narrators from the first book.

Great story!!

I loved it.. I wished the cat and mouse game didn't last quite so long. I miss the old Knox!!!! He was so sexy sounding... this one is more beast.. but maybe the point. I definitely hated him along with Aria..so the book did a good job! Looking forward to the next book!

Extremely Intense!!

Love the narraters! I would have chosen to stick with the first female narrator from Book 1! Love the duel narraters it rly brings the book to life!
This book is rly hard to listen to when it comes to what the main female has to endure in order to be a part of the 9 realms and clean her house! (come on who's kidding she has to clean the whole nine realms)!!

Love the story…not the narration

I opted to finish this on kindle because Of the narration. I was okay with the woman, but I couldn’t stand the male’s when he narrated men. It was hard to understand him and hear in general through the growling.

I’m a huge fan of Amelias and I love her books and her stories and absolutely LOVED the first in this series narrators. I’ll probably be reading the rest on kindle if it’s the same narrator for the man.

Better and Better

This story just keeps getting better and better! You’ll be kept constantly on your toes and as confused as Aria is about her relationship with the king!

One tiny little buggaboo - narrators were switched. I understand maybe the originals weren’t what the author wanted/not available/etc but it took me a while to get used to it. Especially since I am just now starting the series after it’s complete and am letting one book flow right into the other. Still 5 stars because I am in love with this series.

I have a feeling I’ll have to take a break and let my heart heal when this one ends!

narration

The female narration changes speeds and tones like it's two different people. it's not the same how Troy's voice changes with the characters, but like in the middle of a sentence. there's also repeated lines every once in a while,
