About this listen

All good things must come to an end. When Jeremy Clovenhoof is called up to serve his final role in the Apocalypse, he’s more than a little annoyed. He enjoys his quiet sinful life in suburban England and has some two-for-one vouchers for the local kebab shop he hasn’t spent yet.

While Clovenhoof is whisked away to the afterlife to become an unwilling general in Hell’s final battle with Heaven, his former housemate Nerys decides that she is not going to sit around and let the End of Days just happen to her. If this sad and sinful world needs to be transformed then she’s going to do it herself and avoid any need for angels and demons to get involved.

The eighth book in the Clovenhoof series is a joyful comedy featuring imaginary dogs, kinky cleaners, devious devils, squabbling angels, and the most incompetent Armageddon ever conceived.

Alpacalyptic Fun

Who would have thought the end of the world could be so entertaining? Surprisingly, Nerys has grown to be my favorite character of this series so it was great to have her as the main character this go around. Excellent writing and narration as always.

Good way to wrap it all up

Imagine my joy when I opened up Audible on my birthday and saw this book available. Let’s just say I did more than a little happy dance. The story combined with the performance of the narrator had me listening to the whole series a couple times waiting for the final one. Like spinal tap, it gets better with each listen. Hopefully they’ll get the missing book out on Audible now or at least soon. Why isn’t it available?

I couldn't even finish this one!

The Clovenhoof Series was excellent up until the last two books. I couldn't even finish this last installment; it was incredibly boring and seemed as if the authors had forced themselves to finish. The storyline involving Nerys just fell flat which is so unlike the quality of work found in the earlier books. I was so disappointed!
