About this listen

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a prevalent condition affecting millions of children globally. Boys are more prone to this condition than girls, so this workbook’s tone is mostly masculine. Children with ADHD are hyperactive and often show impulsive behavior. They can’t maintain their focus for a longer duration, which is why these children are often lagging back in their schools.

As a rehabilitation expert, I know how to deal with ADHD children. The treatment requires a nontraditional approach. You cant engage your ADHD children in long boring lectures. That is why I added many playful science-backed activities with proven results for their long-term rehabilitation.

You will find activities that target your ADHD child like:

  • Performance in school
  • Behavioral modification
  • Ability to make friends
  • Confidence and self-esteem

I respect the fact that raising an ADHD child can be very stressful. So, you will find fantastic strategies in the latter part of the audiobook that can help you prevent the symptoms of burnout and depression.

PLEASE NOTE: When you purchase this title, the accompanying PDF will be available in your Audible Library along with the audio.

Activities were nice!

This is a decent book but I was expecting more colorful graphs and graphics. I Think the text may have just been a bit too much. With that said there were some interesting activities in there. I loved the activity where the words were spelt wrong and my child had to correct them. This activity helped her to keep focus!

Maybe a bit too complicated for children

A great book with many great activities. I do think that some of them are more suited for teens and you would definitely need to go through this with an adult for children. With that said, the range of activities covered are very engaging and interesting!

Take it slowly and your child will benefit!

I got this audiobook as I heard good things about the e-book and I am not disappointed! I have started doing one activity every morning with my daughter and she is loving them!

interactive workbook

Interactive workbook but this is not something that you would expect a child to do by themselves, this will definitely require an adult!

my child loved it!

I was worried that I would not be able to complete this book with my child as the paragraphs are quite lengthy but my child loved it and could not stop writing!

sound advice towards the end!

These activities will surely help to build your child’s self-esteem and confidence. I was expecting more activities for younger children although I did like the explanation at the beginning on ADHD and the advise at the end was sound!

Great read

I love how this book addresses scenarios where ADHD children struggle the most. a lot of the case studies were very relevant to the struggles that my child is currently facing. I loved the section that allowed us to plan our week to help us stay productive.

fantastically written!

I like the diversity of activities. Each activity is well thought out and each activity is backed with case studies/ stories that can keep the most inattentive child focused! very impressed with this book.

More so for children than teens

I think this book is more suited for teens then children. some of the terminology that is used I believe is too difficult for children to understand. Author should be clearer

Great book!

The book is good but I think it is more suited towards teenagers and not so much children, unless you do this with a parent and you go through it slowly
