This book is like a guided journey to rediscover each other. Each week focuses on a different aspect of a healthy relationship, with exercises to help you explore your feelings and communicate openly. And I love that it only takes a little bit of time each week, so it fits into our busy schedules. EXCELLENT & EFFECTIVE GUIDE
I thought this book was head & shoulders above other relationship books I have read.
Author does a great job assessing the “attachment style“ of your partner, which is a core issue for every couple.
Presented is a great method of unification called “Emotional Focus Therapy.” Also Highlighted are the impactful areas of recognizing & understanding your partner’s triggers & behavior patterns. Clever & practical practices are suggested such as creating a time capsule, joint vision board, intimacy rituals & “regular check-ins.”
I highly recommend this book for anyone couple seeking to overcome the mire of a relationship, to remove their emotional debris & to reconnect to & enhance their core love.
