The 2024 winner is Sameena Tarannum who received the prize at a reception in the Stockholm City Hall in December. The award recognises members for their professional achievements in Stockholm, their active participation in the network, their drive and determination in pursuing opportunities, and their integration into the social and professional milieu of Sweden.


    Settling in a new country and still being You is like a complex equation. But being the brilliant Indian mathematician that she is, Sameena Tarannum managed to solve the equation while maintaining her self-confidence, getting a job and starting a new life in Sweden.


    In this episode, Sameena shares her inspiring story, which is a testament to the power of resilience, curiosity and cultural exploration.
