Our guest, Annika Hedås Falk, an experienced principal, will give you a better understanding of daily life in Swedish classrooms and how the approach to teaching and learning might differ from what you’re used to. Whether you’re a parent, or just interested in education and curious about the Swedish system, this episode gives you a grounded look at how Swedish schools work.
Annika Hedås Falk has 30 years' experience as principal and teacher in schools in different parts of Stockholm. She has worked in both compulsory and upper secondary schools, in both municipal and independent school. She has also worked for the City of Stockholm with strategic pedagogic leadership, and for the Nobel Foundation as Director of Education, building an international network for teachers around the world.
