  • How "Artist Dates" Lead to A Vibrant Life
    Jun 24 2025

Send Kelly a text when you click here, or stop by Kellytibbitts.com

In this episode, I share about the concept of the “Artist’s Date”, inspired by Julia Cameron’s book The Artist’s Way.

Did you know that play is not just for children and that creativity is not just for professional artists? All of us have both an inner child and an inner artist. Together, they can be both powerful and transformative.

Making space for creative fun (even when life feels overwhelming) & prioritizing rest and play (BEFORE work) can help you live a more vibrant life.

    Main Points:

    • An artist date is time that we set apart every week to do something that we think is fun, creative, and that brings us joy.
    • It is critical to rest first. From that place of rest, begin to notice what would be fun for you to do.
    • It can be anything that appeals to you- painting, cooking, dancing, pottery, writing, drawing, flower arranging, etc. The list is endless!

  • Enneagram Basics: The 3 Instincts
    Jun 3 2025

Send Kelly a text when you click here, or stop by Kellytibbitts.com

The Enneagram isn’t about putting us in a box—it’s a powerful tool for understanding motivations, behaviors, and the “why” behind how we show up in life and relationships.

In today’s episode, I focus on instincts. I believe it’s important to first understand which instincts drive you (and which is your blind spot) before seeking out your number or type.

This knowledge allow you to enhance the health of the important relationships in your life (even if you don’t yet know your type!).

    Main Points:

    • It’s About Motivation, Not Just Behavior: The Enneagram helps us look beyond what we do to why we do it—revealing our deepest motivations, fears, and desires.
    • The Power of Instincts: We each operate from three core instincts—self-preservation, social, and one-to-one.
    • Self-Compassion is the Secret Ingredient: Growth happens best when we notice our patterns without judgment.

    May 27 2025

Send Kelly a text when you click here, or stop by Kellytibbitts.com

In this episode, listen in on a conversation I had with my friend and business partner Ellen Mailhot, inspired by Gabby Bernstein’s new book, Self Help. Gabby’s book uses the lens of the Internal Family Systems model and how it can be applied to self help outside of work with a professional. We discuss some interesting parallels & overlaps between the concepts from the book and the principles & tools underlying my coaching business. Take a listen as we share personal insights & anecdotes on how powerful these basic tools & techniques can be in transforming and improving our lives and relationships.

    Main Points

The Four Steps to self-alignment outlined in Self Help include:

    • Self-Awareness
    • Curiosity
    • Compassionate Connection
    • Check-In

Self-Compassion Matters! It can be hard to treat ourselves with the same kindness we show to others. In addition to the four steps above, Gabby Bernstein uses 8 “C words” for a healthy self: calm, curious, clear, compassionate, confident, courageous, creative, and connected. What’s your top priority for aligned energy?

  • Enneagram Bascis: A Path to Stress Management
    May 20 2025

Send Kelly a text when you click here, or stop by Kellytibbitts.com

Today’s podcast episode is a re-release about how the Enneagram can help us see how we respond to and manage stress. Noticing is the first step to aligning our energy.

Here are 3 key takeaways from the podcast:

    1. Stress Shows Up Differently for Each Enneagram Type: Whether you react by getting busier, withdrawing, or putting everyone else first, recognizing your unique stress signals and habits are very helpful.
    2. Check in with Your Thoughts, Feelings, and Body: Each center (mind, heart, body) processes stress distinctively. Pay attention to all three-don’t believe every thought that pops into your head, let feelings stay locked away, or ignore what your body’s telling you.
    3. Returning to and Maintaining Health Is a Journey: Small practices, like checking in with how you want to feel or making time for activities that pour back into you, will help you return to your healthiest self.
