This is a high stakes, lots of explosions and bullets, into the sub reality of action, love making, blood and guts and cute alien flower puppies! All the French descriptions are fantastic as well. Gloire et honneur!

It's the Holy Roman Empire in space and done badly at that. Then add in the MC that just comes off as an unlikeable douchebag and side characters that are so one dimensional that they make no sense whatsoever. It made this book completely unlistenable.
