This story had it all - intrigue, mystery, suspense, budding romance, family drama, new friendships, old friendships all wrapped up in a great story. I'm glad to see it's not just a one off and that she is making it a series. I can't wait to read the rest.

I enjoyed the book a lot. Well-paced, interesting and fun to hear the Scottish accents!

Great voices and suspense! It wasn’t clear until the end who the culprit was and the Scottish location made it a good “escape” type of read.

Very light and funny/sweet. Needed it after a couple guy punch listens in a row. Yes predictable but that’s ok.

The storyline was great along with character development. Light and easy listening. The narrator was great along with the other character voices. Listening to the whole series!!

I thought the narrator of this book was great. Each character had a distinct sound. I love that.

I thought this was a great read/listen. No swear words or graphic murders. Just a good clean story that keeps you guessing all the way through.

The plucky American was so contradictory in an effort to be full of personality. I have noticed this in other recent books. The author makes her say a pronouncement about herself which she promptly acts in such a way to make that pronouncement meaningless. I liked the setting, though.

I wanted to smack the lead character

The mystery kept me guessing until the end and I really got to like Eden Elliot, Vicky McBride and all the characters. Look forward to the rest of the series.
