When Marley McKinney's aging cousin, Jimmy, is hospitalized with pneumonia, she agrees to help run his pancake house while he recovers. With its rustic interior and syrupy scent, the Flip Side Pancake House is just as she pictured it - and the surly chef is a wizard with crêpes. Marley expects to spend a leisurely week or two in Wildwood Cove, the quaint, coastal community where she used to spend her summers, but then Cousin Jimmy is found murdered, sprawled on the rocks beneath a nearby cliff.

After she stumbles across evidence of stolen goods in Jimmy's workshop, Marley is determined to find out what's really going on in the not-so-quiet town of Wildwood Cove. With help from her childhood crush and her adopted cat, Flapjack, Marley sinks her teeth into the investigation. But if she's not careful, she's going to get burned by a killer who's only interested in serving up trouble.

Lots of great characters. Left you guessing a little bit as to who did it. Kept me involved. The narrator was a little bit one noted it seemed but it was still enjoyable and a good book to listen to. Looking forward to reading my next one.

This was a cute who done it story. A lot of fun characters and some that were not so clean cut.
I would definitely recommend this book if your looking for something that is a cleaner cut story.
I liked trying to figure things out along with our heroine.

Finally a story that isn’t filled with obscenities! I’m so over and refuse to listen to any story who uses Gods name in vain and filthy language! Thank you!

If someone asked me to recommend them a book, this probably wouldn’t be it. But it definitely was enjoyable to listen to while time passed.

This was a nice story to listen to while doing my knitting and sewing on my machine.I would have enjoyed it more if I learned about Cape Cod/

A decent read but it can get a little too wordy at times. It had a modest amount of mystery and for free it’s worth listening too. I would not use a credit to listen though

The story was okay. The narrator wasn’t particularly engaging and the story seemed like a last minute thing. Not a favorite.

The story was ok but the narrator took a while to find her beat. There were unexpected pauses in unexpected places. As time went on the narration did improve.
