Well for any Paranormal/Romance lover what's not to like - theirs Demons, portals, hot hot hot alpha Guardians with secret skills, action, adventure, betrayal, secrets, instant attraction, passion, sex, love and a HEA ending.

Aiden, who's a handsome super-hero type, clad in black and drives a black Ferrari (swoon-worthy), is sent on a mission but is suddenly possessive over Lella (his mission) but she thinks she's dreaming (I don't blame her) then she thinks he's a Demon (silly girl) so she keeps secrets that nearly destroys everything. Once it get's going it's a fast paced action-packed ride as the loyalty of some of the Stealth Guardians is questioned as they try to uncover traitors, battle greed, save the world and, because it's a new series, you just don't know what's going to happen next.

Beware - there's a female masturbation scene and sex scenes so if you can't take the heat be prepared to hit the 'fast forward' button a few times.

Loved the earthy gritty narration of Eric Dove.

Worth a credit? Oh YES it ticked all my boxes and I can't wait for the next instalment because they may have won this battle but the war is far from over.

I had high hopes for this book and unfortunately it failed to come even close to meeting them. To begin with you're dropped into the middle of a battle where you have no idea what's happening or why. It's explained later but it wasn't a great way to start the story. I also felt no chemistry between the H and h. His supposed prejudices were mentioned but never really showed when working with her. There was some supposed biological reason he was having difficulty "resisting" her but there was never any seeming urgency nor any attempts at self control from him. Finally a relatively minor gripe... where ever this author got the names she used... "Crookshank" and "Zoltan", she should really rethink. I won't be persuing this series further.

I'd say it's a pretty good book with an equal amount romance and fantasy. I'll definitely be following the series.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No, the story (and especially the main heroine) is idiotic beyond measure. Her house is burning, some stranger just demonstrated he could walk through walls, she is told about danger and demons - and she can not shut up, listen and think. All she does it throw tantrums about him seeing her naked and touching herself (while the house is burning). Nice set of priorities for a (supposedly) top-notch research scientist.

What could Tina Folsom have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Could have written a simple erotic story without trying for high matters.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Rather cliche falsetto female voice. But I have to give the narrator credit for not laughing outright in many places. I suspect he was sorely tempted. Still, narration is rather decent and it was probably the only thing that kept me listening to this disaster of a romance.

What would have made this romance irresistible?

Irresistible - nothing. Tolerable - a dash of logic (yes, even romance needs it) and brains.

Any additional comments?

Not buying anything else by the author.

The story is good, and the premise is made believable, but it gets a little silly. Explicit conversation makes this a story to listen to with headphones or in private. The narrator is solid and pretty good with voices, to the point that I recognized speakers before they were identified. Even though several had similar Scotch accents! Good for a nice mindless read.

I absolutely adored Aiden. He's a Stealth Guardian just wanting to keep his charges safe. It doesn't always work out like that though. There are traitors in their midst.
Leila just so happens to be Aidens newest charge. From the very beginning Aiden knew something was different about this charge. She wasn't just a charge to him.
Even though Leila is Aiden's love interest and to be a "brilliant" scientist she was a nitwit of epic proportions. I just couldn't with her. She never looked too deeply at a situation she always just looked on the surface. Makes me wonder how she ever made the formula she made.
Although I did like this story and most of the characters Leila just didn't do it for me.

The narrator did an excellent job.

I'm very interested in reading Moore of this series. I'm a Tina Folsom fan. And I can see this series going places.

Just enough action.

Hearing the guardians fight their way to save the human Leila.

So far I've listened to two other series performed by this narrator and I have not been disappointed with anything he has read!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't have any extreme reactions to the book, but it kept me interested enough to want to buy the next installment.

Would you listen to Lover Uncloaked again? Why?

This was not a "I just gotta listen to this story again" book. However, I have several books in my library I just could not make it to the end of the story the first time. If given the choice of listening to this book or those books in my library, I would gladly listen to this book again.

Would you recommend Lover Uncloaked to your friends? Why or why not?

Yes, I would recommend this story. Most of my friends listen to paranormal romances so I know they would at least "like" this story.

What does Eric G. Dove bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Eric did a great job of narrating the story. He really brought the characters to life and I loved that he gave the characters their proper accents.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I bought this book because it was on sale and I am so glad I did. This was a story that capture my interest right from the beginning and kept me engaged all the way to the end. I actually listened to this book over the weekend.

If you like reading different types of paranormal romances then you will like listening to Lover Uncloaked.
