I was uncertain about purchasing this book that was Pre-Cat, but was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. In fact, I think I liked it even better than the Cat and Bones stories. Cat is a bit whiny and annoying sometimes. Bones strutting around New Orleans on the hunt was sexy as hell. I very much enjoyed this prequel. Thank you, Jeaniene!

loved the story, I absolutely love this series... but I did not expect to be able to get through this book in just a few hours

I’ve listened to Bones/Cat books but never noticed this book with Bones before meeting Cat. I loved it, and I think anyone who reads or listens to the later books will too.

As always, the narration is beyond amazing!!

This is a good look at who Bones is before we meet him in Halfway to the Grave.

The man is on the hunt of a pair of serial killers of the undead variety.... things get a little hairy to say the least but, it was a good, quick story!

Honestly Bones' "voice" annoys me a bit. Love the story and I've read other books in the series. I'm going to keep listening. Great story, good pace, I would definitely recommend.
