Acerca de esta escucha

***This is a duet narrated romantasy standalone with wolf shifters, fated mates, and betrayals!***

Everything I know is a lie.

For twenty-five years, I believed there wasn’t much to my mundane life. Then, the unimaginable happens, landing me in a world that shouldn’t be real, yet feels oddly familiar.

A father I didn’t know existed is dying and only their king can save him. Except he’s refusing to do so unless I make good on the contract I supposedly signed…five hundred years ago.

King Asher is beloved by his people, too attractive for his own good, and…a wolf god. He calls me his mate and his future queen, but I’m neither of those things. I’m just a human who was in the wrong place, at the wrong time.

I’m not the lost wolf princess.

At least that’s what I tell myself until my memories start to return. I want to believe this is nothing more than a dream, but the longer I’m in Lunara, the more I realize…

My reincarnation didn’t just happen to go wrong. I was murdered, cursed to forever be reborn on Earth.

Now I need to figure out who’s responsible before it happens again and try not to lose my heart along the way.

This is the first standalone novel written within the Wolves of Lunara series. If you love wolf shifters, romantic fantasy, fated mates, reincarnation, and so much more, then you don't want to miss this one!

A Curse of Shadows is book on in the Wolves of Lunara series. These books are standalone books. I just love the worlds that Heather Renee creates. Isla and Asher's story is incredible. I really loved that Asher would do anything to be reunited with his Fated Mate again. He literally endured lifetimes. What an amazing story!!

Michelle Sparks and Lucas Webley did a phenomenal job narrating this book in duet style narration. They are truly incredible narrators bringing these characters to life.

well Heather Renee does it again another great read/listen. this was Avery good book and the whole time I keep trying to figure out who killed both girls, it one of those books where you think you know and then bang its not them. and then your left with the what the heck so who did it. lol but I can't wait for the next book because I know it's going to be a good one.

I recently listened to A Curse of Shadows by Heather Renee, and it was an excellent read for me. Although I'm fairly new to romantasy books, I'm well-acquainted with the romance genre. Fantasy hasn't typically been my go-to, but the narrators, Lucas Webley and Michelle Sparks, are among my favorites, which encouraged me to give this audiobook a chance. I'm glad I did. The character development and world-building felt authentic, and despite the story being somewhat predictable, it was satisfying and complete. I'm excited to begin the second book in the series.

I think I’ll have to read these books rather than listen to them. The narrators are monotone and soft spoken, making a promising story completely boring.

It took me a minute to pick this one up because I have to be in the right mood for fantasy... But I am so happy I did. The premise was so interesting and the mystery kept me guessing. I really enjoyed the characters and I'm so excited this isn't a series series, but that they're all interconnected but separate couples! I was bracing myself for a cliffhanger that never came.

The audio was great. Michelle Sparks and Lucas Webley always do a wonderful job and Audio Sorceress puts on some of the best DUET narration in the business.

Interesting Premise

This was such a fast-paced read with wolf shifters, a curse that needs breaking, and a lost love that pulls at your heart. I really loved Isla! She was so relatable. And Asher? He’s a keeper!! I loved how patient he was with her. The worldbuilding was so fun to imagine, and of course the meddling gods are up to no good. The narrators, Lucas Webley and Michelle Sparks brought the characters to life. It was an addicting listen!
The ultimate betrayal is coming...but the real question is, will everyone survive?

The betrayal!!

The people that did the narration was awful. The story is pretty good. The story was fine the narration was awful.

Good storyline, terrible narrative

Too much dialogue and not enough doing. They just talk and talk and talk before they do anything, so I’m just sitting and waiting for them to get to the point. Pretty annoying. Oh and the characters don’t ask enough questions. You’d think with all the talking they’d ask questions or be curious, but no. It wasn’t a horrible story but it just fell flat.

A crap load of dialogue
