Adam

Adam is not having a good day. First, he finds out his very long-time boyfriend has been having an affair. Then, his dramatic exit becomes a little too dramatic when he ends up dead. To top it off, he finds out that the afterlife isn't at all what he expected (he has no desire to learn to play the harp, thank you very much). Fortunately for him, some afterlife bureaucratic screw-up ends him up with the most smoking-hot demon he's ever seen, and he decides he's keeping him. Maybe the afterlife won't be so bad after all.

Minos

As Judge of the Damned, Minos has seen all sorts of human depravity over his endless existence. When a beautiful, shining soul pops into his chamber for judgment, he knows it's a mistake. The human, however, seems quite content to hang around, and it isn't long before Minos decides he just might keep this one. Minos isn't the optimistic or happy sort, but he can't help but be caught up in the whirlwind that is Adam. When forces beyond his control want to return Adam to his designated afterlife, Minos decides that will not be happening, heaven and hell be damned.

Includes a bonus story, "Corporate Retreats, Romance, and Revenge."

I’ve been in a book rut and was getting tired of the same tropes, this book was perfectly quirky, steamy, and fun. Highly recommend if you’re open to demon love and are looking for something new and light.

I must start paying more attention to MA markers. I wasn't prepared for the level of heat I found. That, or this is my particular brand of kink. My mouth went dry.

Cooper North embodies Minos to the point yeah that is a little to epic. Than you have Kurt Graves as Adam is in full out babbling glory. These two made an already great book better. The craziness just hits a new whole level in audio. Highly recommed.


Adam has zero filter add to it he's with Minos, the Judge of the Damned, who causes you to have no filter, epic ranting commences. Seriously, the ranting is next level hilarious and fun and at times hotter than Hades! Needless to say, this is my kind of writer.
These two are surprisingly adorable together, where from the cover, you aren't expecting that, and yep, happy to see when authors surprise me. It's just a fun overall low angst high heat high comedy read. Don't be me and put the book off. Just pick it up and read and enjoy.

I read this for the spiciness, so I was not disappointed in the least. This story was hot af 🔥🔥🔥 and it scratched the itch. Yes, Adam is vapid and annoying most of the time, but Minos more than made up for it, and the narrators were PERFECT. This was fun. I’ll definitely come back and read/listen to it again.

A fun romp, and that’s what I was looking for!

Loved it, I’ve read the book and enjoyed it but this is so much better and funnier because the narrators had done a wonderful job.

I’m looking forward to the next one.

I bought this because I would pay to listen to Kirt Graves and Cooper North read the dictionary, but I was pleasantly surprised! If you want something fun, campy, and spicy, this is a great choice. There's really not much plot.
