Really Enjoyed Learning About The Heyoka
Revisado: 12-24-24
I'm going through a bit of an awakening so am trying to figure out my purpose so doing my family history work. I am from Vancouver Island, but my Great Grandmother was a Cree woman from Manitoba. I don't know how the Heyoka term came up but there was a video on Youtube I was looking at and so many characteristics seemed to be how I've lived my life. I've always been empathic but still trying to figure out what I'm supposed to do? This is definitely seeming like me and things I've done all of my life.
I looked on Audible and found this book and was exactly what I was hoping to find. The Universe can be quite helpful at times.
I gave the performance a 4/5 because it's AI but it's fine. I prefer human narration.
Thank you to Linzi Cloud

Historia
Men have been conditioned to be the quintessential "nice guy". They're trained to be overly humble, kind to a fault, and that just "being themselves" is enough to attract and keep the woman of their dreams. Men are told to believe that conventional masculinity is toxic and to put women ahead of their own interests, passions, and purpose. This book exposes the comforting lies you've been told throughout your life for what they really are, enabling you to become a truly authentic alpha who chases excellence and leads a successful passion-filled life.

Solid Content as usual from Rich

I've been watching this guy and his podcast for a few years now and I can confidently say that the stuff he is sharing is 100% legit. If you're a single guy, invest in this title. Know and understand the content and hopefully you'll follow it. I really can't see how using this guide would result in a potential bad mate?
This book is really a great resource on things to focus on and things to avoid. I know 100% if a guy take this advice, they'll 99% for sure experience less stress and drama than if they didn't.
So, single dude, yeah you. Buy this, you'll be better for having done so.

Historia
Narcissistic abuse was originally defined as a specific form of emotional abuse of children by narcissistic parents, but more recently the term has been applied more broadly to refer to any abuse by a narcissist (someone that who admires their own attributes), in particular in adult-to-adult relationships the abuse may be mental, physical, financial, spiritual or sexual. If you have been through an abusive relationship with someone who has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, you will know that no one understands what you are going through unless they have personally experienced it.

Could've Been Great But Only Good
Revisado: 07-24-19
Let me start by saying that the content in this book is exactly what I've been looking for, for many years.
I feel that the information provided to explain trauma bonds, addiction, letting go and healing is something I believe works as it all makes sense.
The problem I found with this audiobook version is that there's no accompanying pdf.
Also, the steps with the audio guided walkthroughs aren't all at the end of the book for easy access. This makes it so I've had to search through the book to find the guided healing session and then mark the chapter and time of each. Pretty lame.
But since it works, I've just typed out the walkthrough so I can just read along with it instead of listening.
This should've been included with the audiobook IMO.
As far as the walkthroughs go, It's like you're trying to do it and then pause it quickly to do what she says but you want to listen to her examples of what you're trying to think of. Some walkthroughs will go slow, pause and tell you to 'do this now' and wait a couple of seconds before talking again. This felt hurried and a little scattered.
This last thought is kind of 50/50 as some of the stories are really relevant and hit home. But there are times when you want to get going or keep going on something and then the narrator breaks into yet another story.
The other thing I felt is that this book is a little like a promotional book for her NARP membership on her website which at this time is either $195 or $295.
Personally I'm at a point where the book is providing me with what I've been searching for and will give me a ton of things to work on before I feel I need to join a group for this price. But if you're stuck and need support, if you compare it with just a couple of therapy sessions you could already be at that price.
Give the book a try, you'll learn a lot of new science and most likely have some long standing questions answered. You may want to pick up the paper version instead of the audio version if what I've mentioned hits home.

I’ve listened through this probably 6 times now and still love it as much as the first time each listen I give it. So much of this I want to strive for in my life but I know I have a lot of work to do before I can get to be comfortable at a level 3 relationship. Great resource if you want to truly be there for your lady and make her love you 100%.

Lots of great info along with a lot of filler
Revisado: 11-16-18
There’s some great info in this book but for some reason I find the writing style of the author to be kinda cheesy after awhile.
I think this book is suited for a guy in his late 20’s and up who hasn’t found success in his personal life but in his professional life has done rather well.
Lots of information for landing a high end lady who is looking for an established man, lots of it wouldn’t apply to the younger crowd of girls who are looking for fun and excitement without getting into a long term relationship.
It’s funny but several times while listening I had to stop as it got annoying in the sense that there are so many ways for a guy to screw things up in the first interaction. It’s like the girl is perfect and the guy has to evade obstacles and landmines in order for the girl just to give him a shot! There has to be a balance where you avoid things you didn’t realize put off women combined with you being authenticity yourself.
Good resource to have in your toolbox if you want to know every last thing about flirting, dating and courtship.

Why are women more verbal than men? Why do women remember details of fights that men can't remember at all? Why do women tend to form deeper bonds with their female friends than men do with their male counterparts? These and other questions have stumped both sexes throughout the ages. Now, pioneering neuropsychiatrist Louann Brizendine, M.D., brings together the latest findings to show how the unique structure of the female brain determines how women think and what they value.

Holy moly, what's with authors that insist on reading their own work? Do they not have friends that are honest and tell them they're terrible at reading?
This is a book that has a ton of great information with supporting stories that makes for a good listen.... unfortunately, the author's very slow and weird pace along with strange pronouncing and emphasis on words makes it so I have to put the speed at 2x just to stomach it. She's actually good at doing a character voice of a young girl, I'll give her that. But that's all I'll give her as anything is pure ear poison.
If you're an author and are considering releasing your book in an audio format, record a chapter and send it to 5 friends who will be honest with you. There is no way Louann took my suggestion or else has no honest friends.

Models is the first book ever written on seduction as an emotional process rather than a logical one, a process of connecting with women rather than impressing them. It's the most mature and honest guide on how a man can attract women without faking behavior, without lying and without emulating others. A game-changer.

I really like this book a lot. I've listened through about 5 times at least... 3-4 points in it really hit home and has changed my mindset and approach forever.
What I don't like is the bleh reading by the author himself. With the sloppy edits to the sound quality changes throughout not to mention the mispronouncing of words and sip of a drink at one point.
The guy can write, but make sure to never narrate one of your books again.
