Historia
This novel biography brings Marcus Aurelius (121-180 CE) to life for a new generation by exploring the emperor’s fascinating psychological journey. Donald J. Robertson examines Marcus’s relationships with key figures in his life, such as his mother, Domitia Lucilla, and the emperor Hadrian, as well as his Stoic tutors. He draws extensively on Marcus’s own Meditations and correspondence, and he examines the emperor’s actions as detailed in the Augustan History and other ancient texts.

Historia
The Great Crusade is ending. The Emperor has returned to Terra, while Horus remains among the stars to complete the unification of humanity. As the Imperial armies fight the final battles of the age, Remembrancer Solomon Voss seeks the answer to one question—why does Sigismund, First Captain of the Imperial Fists and greatest champion of the Legions, believe that war will not end? Granted a rare audience with the master of the Templars, the answer takes Voss on a revelatory journey to a time before Sigismund became a Space Marine.

Historia
After seven years of bitter war, the end has come at last for the conflict known infamously as the Horus Heresy. Terra now lies within the Warmaster’s sights, the Throneworld and the seat of his father’s rule. Horus’ desire is nothing less than the death of the Emperor of Mankind and the utter subjugation of the Imperium. He has become the ascendant vessel of Chaos and amassed a terrible army with which to enact his will and vengeance. But the way to the Throne will be hard as the primarch Rogal Dorn, the Praetorian and protector of Terra, marshals the defences.

FANTASTIC!
Revisado: 02-26-16
Not as emotionally gut wrenching as the first book but really expanded the story of the state that they find themselves in so it's not really a bad thing as things are looking ever so slightly better and the dying off times are stabilizing. I really love patriotism showed in the people of the portrayed community while divided sometimes (like any properly functioning democracy) they work and come togather. and face a surprising outside threat that was rather surprising to me. and enemies become friends (that part I loved)
if you like this series and are also into a survivalist/pepper aspect I'd recommend
