The mc has no impulse control. Worse than a horny teenager. The plot is forced. Trivial even. It’s smut strung together with character movement. Not even development. They just move from one scene to the next and the mc is thinking about sexual things.

Interesting story but momcore

Neat concept for the fey/ human story. But in a cage since 12 (childhood) to instant orgy right after being released at 21. Where did she learn this? Girl is thirsty AF. The rest of the series gets worse with more dudes. At the same time. Be aware of the heavily sexual content.

3 hours in, i still don’t know who the main character is, what the conflict is, what is going on. Chaos is definitely what I am getting from the audio. No redeeming qualities here.

Long and riddled with issues

First, these books could have been pared down. So much fluff filler that wasn’t necessary to the plot. The complications felt forced. I gather this is a prequel written out of order. I’ll check out some other stories to see if it’s the same.
Secondly, and the most frustrating, I couldn’t keep the audio playing. Every time I turned it on, I had to fight to get it to play. It would then cut out saying there was an error loading. I downloaded it. How? I was told to contact tech support but I never found that link. With 2 hours and 3 minutes remaining, the book just disappeared. It can’t be found anywhere in the digital world. So, I have an idea of how the story ends because it could end here, but those two hours are frustrating since I’ve fought to listen to the other 80 hours.

Slow is an understatement

The entire book 1 could have been a chapter. We spent too much time discussing a menstrual cycle of a child and how that pertains to her sexual potential. Very disturbing. Book 2, something finally starts happening. Then it stops. I really dislike the MC and really agree with the opposition. Not a good series.

The story is good, but every female lead has to have some man to give her purpose. Why can’t she be a badass on her own instead of scripted as a vapid horny girl. The series could be shortened if we cut the details of sexuality.

Gravy Seals

In this exciting installment of civilian sergeant, this gravy seal left for work, proud that he’s a jerk, prepared for the end of the world with bug out bags ready on his 20 mile commute. Like, he waddled out of the car excited for his time to shine.
I literally listened for 20 minutes and immediately turned it off. I can’t believe there are several books in this series.

Catchy read

It was a catchy read. I stayed engaged and interested in the story. However, I don’t feel there was a sufficient ending. There is plenty more of the story left untold. I suppose all good books feel that way.
