Belfast, 1988. A man is found dead, killed with a bolt from a crossbow in front of his house. This is no hunting accident. But uncovering who is responsible for the murder will take Detective Sean Duffy down his most dangerous road yet, a road that leads to a lonely clearing on a high bog where three masked gunmen will force Duffy to dig his own grave. Hunted by forces unknown, threatened by Internal Affairs, and with his relationship on the rocks, Duffy will need all his wits to get out of this investigation in one piece.

Intelligent storyline and masterful humor.
Revisado: 03-13-17
The Duffy series presents good solid mysteries, but what really set them apart is the humor that is a natural part of the storyline. I'd hang out with Duffy.

The 3 book deal is a great bargain
Revisado: 04-22-16
I was a little concerned that these books would seem dated. However, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the stories and the narration. I wish audible would offer these bundled deals more often.

Outstanding Narration
Revisado: 08-21-14
If you could sum up Fool's Errand in three words, what would they be?
This is an excellent continuation of the Farseer story. The narration of this book is actually a bit better than the original. I prefer Langdon's voice selection for both the Fool and Nighteyes.
Any additional comments?
The constant mispronunciation of Kettrichen and Burrich's names is really irritating. The producer, director, narrator or somebody should put a little effort into continuity when working on a series.

When a sniper kills four people on Boston Common, Boston homicide detective Mike Houston and his partner Anne Bouchard are sent to investigate the case. Amidst the blood and terror, Houston discovers similarities, likenesses the killer’s positioning, his choice of victims, and his code of ethics between the crime scene and his own training as a US Marine scout and sniper. And with the staging of the scene set for prime shock value, Houston has to wonder what it is this murderer intends to accomplish.

Lame
Revisado: 02-11-14
What disappointed you about Sniper?
This book was nothing but a collection standard plot devices and story lines. The book was entirely predictable and dull.
Has Sniper turned you off from other books in this genre?
No.
What about Christopher Price’s performance did you like?
Price's performance was fine. He did the best he could with what he had to work with.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment. However, I'm thrilled it was a free book and I didn't waste my money on it.
Any additional comments?
You can skip this book. You've already read it or watched it on TV, the characters just have different names.
