Cecelia Mecca has been a wonderful new author to read. If you like to read medieval romance set in the border between Scotland and England, this book is for you. In spite of the fact that like most prequels the instant lust and love between Cora and Adam happened in a blink of an eye, somehow Ms Mecca managed to write an entertaining story. Adam and Cora were forced to marry in order to keep the peace between Cora's clan and its English neighbours. Adam had no problem with it, Cora had every intention to make her husband return her back home. And so the scheming began. I liked Adam sense of honour and Cora's feistiness. There are a couple of funny scenes too. Yes, I will continue reading this series.

No, no, a thousand times no. I finished reading this book holding on to hope that Bobbi would stand up to Gabe but it really never happened. Gabe and Bobbi are best friends. Bobbi has been in love with Gabe for years. Bobbi gets drunk at a party and kissed and touched him as only a lover would. The morning after she is ashamed and prays that her friendship with Gabe hasn't been damaged. Of course, Gabe started lusting after his best friend and couldn't get her out of his mind.

What's his solution? "Hey Bobbi, why don't we have sex whenever we have the itch, tell no one about it, get it out of our system and once we're done we can go back to being friends?" Bobbi is heartbroken, Gabe is not in love with her but at least wants to have sex with her. What's a girl to do? Well, if you have no self-esteem at all, are a coward and thinks settling is better than nothing, you'd become Gabe's lover and best kept secret.

Fourteen chapters of Bobbi content with crumbs while Gabe behaved like a monumental jerk. He would hurt her over and over again with his comments, his dismissive attitude about her job and appearance and Bobbi just took it while making herself available.

If Bobbi had thought first, Gabe isn't her best friend, he thinks of her as a tomboy, doesn't like the fact that she is a mechanic and cares only about his needs; second, if she had slapped him hard and heartbroken as she was moved on with her life and showed Gabe what he was missing, I would have respect for her."He is so gorgeous, I'm nothing like the women he dates and I love him and this is my only chance to at least have sex with him until he gets bored. I will treasure the memories forever!" I disliked her so much!

And Gabe, what an @#$!, what a selfish, immature piece of s@#$! The CEO of a company worth million of dollars and he writes childish poems and sends hundreds of flowers after he shattered Bobbi's heart? He missed the point, again.

One out of three, ain't so bad, I guess. I hope the next book takes away the bitter taste in my mouth after reading this one.

As for the narrator? Not the greatest, I still have to go back and listen again to a few phrases. Her accent is difficult to understand at times but then again, I'm not British.

A husband's over the top reaction to an unwanted pregnancy ends up in years of misery and misunderstandings. Wished the heroine had a lot more backbone in certain parts of the story. She also cried a lot but a small detail compare to the rest of this amazing story. Ms Anders' characters are flawed, especially her heroes. I think Theresa, in the previous book, showed more strength of character than Brownyn. Another excellent story from Ms Anders.

As for the narrator, she is okay. Her accent is an issue but not a huge one. One can still understand most of what she says.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

If you like romance and are looking for an easy read with a little bit of more reality in it, this is it for you.

What did you like best about this story?

It is not often the conflict in a romance story is dealt with a touch of real life. If your marriage is a sham and your husband sees you as a means to an end, your reaction must be one of outrage as soon as you learn the truth of his motives for marrying you. You'd want out of the marriage.

I was more surprised and impressed with Theresa's reaction than anything else in the story. She had had enough of Alessandro's cruel behaviour; a man she loved from the moment she first saw him. Theresa's father and Alessandro had made a deal and aside from the land Alessandro needed, her father offered Theresa. Once she gave birth to a son, Alessandro would be free.

When Theresa asked for a divorce, her painful journey began. Of course asking and getting are two different things, because just as Theresa finally thought her troubled marriage was over, she finds out she is finally pregnant. Alessandro refused to give her the divorce and even threatened Theresa with calling back a loan he gave her cousin to start up her business.

But Theresa didn't give up on wanting her divorce. As much as she was sexually attracted to Alessandro, she refused to sleep with him. Something happened to Alessandro when Theresa decided to make a stand. Theresa wanted a boy so that she can finally be freed of Alessandro, and Alessandro wanted a girl because he realised he had fallen in love with his wife. I enjoyed immensely how hard Alessandro had to work to earn his wife's trust and love. So the fight for their happily ever after began. And this is what made me give this story five stars. Alessandro offered a truce as the awaited the birth of their child. He proposed fixed times to get to know each other. Theresa and Alessandro had to rebuild their relationship from the ground up. They learned to enjoy each other's company, share stories, compromise and finally, as far as Theresa was concerned, trust her husband again. That Theresa took to almost the end of the story to trust in her husband and admit to love him was the best part of the book.

As a reader and without having Alessandro's point of view, I could tell he was very sorry of the way he treated Theresa and how badly he wanted his wife back. It is a pleasure reading romance novels with more realistic human reactions. If Natasha Anders' books are all like this I most certainly will read more of them.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

The narrator had a thick English or Irish accent and at times it was difficult to understand. Men's voices were not great but not horrible either.

Ilona Andrews can do no wrong in my books. Their heroines are utterly amazing. Andrea Nash deserved another story and her happily ever after which of course had to be won with sweat, blood -lots of blood- and love. Raphael got under my skin for a bit, however, little by little he earned my respect. This is a story about Andrea coming to terms with her painful and horrible past as well as her acceptance that it is okay to belong.

Raphael and Andrea had broken up in a previous book and how they finally mended their relationship was a thing of beauty and this is why I love Ilona's take on relationships. Andrea and Raphael had to first, rant and vent for a time, then play and flirt and lastly they had to talk about how they hurt each, why they both reacted and did the things they did and finally they accepted each other as they are. So not only did they had to kill a god but they had to fix themselves. All in the day's work for Andrea and Cutting Edge. Oh, and Kate and Curran graced us with their presence and that was awesome.

Ms Raudman is one of my favourite narrators. She has different voices for all characters and does it superbly. She is now part of Kate Daniels universe and hope it never changes.

What made the experience of listening to Take Me the most enjoyable?

Within a few minutes I cheered. This book is about a size sixteen woman getting the mouth watering heroe. Colour me impressed. Lily is extremely self conscious about her size and dresses accordingly: to hide her body. Travis is gorgeous and very confident and of course dates slim, beautiful women. That is, until Travis happened to watch Lily dressed in a stunning red dress during a fashion show put on by her little sister. Travis fell in instant lust, he couldn't believe it. Lily had a crush since forever on Travis. They have known each since they were children and Travis ignored and at times he even made fun of her. Travis pursues Lily after the show, she gives in thinking she may not get another chance.

Having sex with Travis not only made her wish come true but it was the start of Lily's journey towards loving herself. Travis, on the other hand not only couldn't get enough of Lily but found her beautiful inside and out. I loved how little by little both Lily and Travis found the courage to face their past mistakes and false assumptions. Travis gave a lot of thought to how badly he treated Lily. His journey wasn't as painful as Lily's and when the word love slipped past his lips and embraced that new reality. Lily took more time to come into her own because as much as she loved Travis she didn't love herself enough.

Lily discovered her sensual side. No more unflattering clothes and yet she allowed her insecurities to made her question whether or not she was the right woman for Travis. No matter how many times Travis told how much he loved her curves, how good she was as an interior decorator, what a beautiful woman she was, Lily still felt insecure. What surprised me too was that Travis figured that it all had to do with Lily not loving herself.

At the end Lily came to her senses, accepted the risk of loving and being loved and that it all starts with loving herself.

What made the experience of listening to It Must be Your Love the most enjoyable?

For the past couple of books or maybe more I have been struggling with the Sullivan family series and its repetitive recipe: rich, successful, gorgeous people falling into instant lust and love in a matter of seconds. Some fellow readers have pointed out that reading a whole series (by the same author) at once will most likely highlight the authors flaws and I have to agree as I read and keep on reading this series. However, this book in particular, rewarded my perseverance.

What was one of the most memorable moments of It Must be Your Love?

No scene stood out as much as the character growth of Mia and Ford. They talked, really talked about what went wrong five years ago and how much it hurt and once that was out in the open it was a matter of time until Mia felt strong enough to say those three magic words. The conflict was more realistic and the outcome, while obvious, more rewarding because of the growth I witnessed in Mia and Ford. And so I shall keep on reading feeling a bit more hopeful.

Any additional comments?

Eva Kaminsky is a fantastic narrator giving all the characters, male and female, their own voices.

Second chances are an opportunity to do it better, to make it better and to correct past mistakes. Love how Sam, Dianna and April (Dianna's little sister) went from resentful and bitter about their past to content and grateful for the second chance to get it right this time. Ten years after their breakup Dianna and Sam meet again. Heroe firefighter Sam couldn't walk away from the woman he has always loved, no when she needed his help and protection. As they raced to save April little by little they opened up to each other and for the first time talk without hiding from their truths. This story had everything and the narrator, Ms Kaminsky was once again superb.

To love a firefighter or anyone in any kind of risky job is hard. To risk losing the one you love to either fire or a bullet takes courage and I think this story did a good job with Maya's doubts. I really liked the fact that Maya was doing what most would consider a man's job: she investigated fires. She is comfortable and sure of what she knows. Logan is the perfect heroe. Not only a Hot Shot but a man with a heart and willing to die for those he cares for. While trying to find the arsonist behind a wild fire Maya learned to trust in love and in Logan.

Love at first sight. Lust at first sight. One perfect man and a woman not too scared to risk her heart again. Is the same formula Ms Andre has used time and time again with her Sullivan family series. Colbie and friends went on a ski trip. Colbie is nursing a broken heart courtesy of her cheating ex- boyfriend. Our heroine is not too keen on going down a steep hill on a pair of skis, Colbie attempts to 'save' a little girl going too fast but falls as she attempts to stop the child from getting hurt, but to her dismay the little girl didn't need to be rescued at all. Noah, our heroe comes to assist Colbie and wouldn't you know Colbie tries to get up, stumbles and there's Noah on top of Colbie and you know the rest. A feel good kind of book. That's all I wanted.

The narrator, superb. I really enjoyed listening to Ms Kaminsky.
