How could this narrator get so many 4 and 5 stars? She totally sucks? I'm only at 20% and I'm done listening. Good grief, Logan sounds just like Maya. I know there's sex in this book and I also know that when it does happen it will sound like two women. This is not a book about two women it's about a man and a woman. Obviously, others don't mind this type of narration but I do. If you can't even try to sound a little manly then you shouldn't be a narrator. Sorry!WTH?

I was unable to finish the book and just skimped the last 10 chapters .. at the end I was not too sure if this was supposed to be romance or mystery ... it ended up being neither since the story was unable to keep my interest and it was only my perseverance that got me past the mid-mark of the story.
Unfortunately the narrator only helped to emphasize the poor storyline and the trite phrases.

This book worked for me on several levels. First I like when an author gives me a strong heroine in a book and Maya was strong. I liked that she was strong enough in her beliefs that she didn't back down but when she realized she made a mistake she admitted it and did everything she could to fix it.We also get a confident, slightly cocky alpha hero that I just dare you not to fall for. Logan Cain was all kinds of sexy and protective and who doesn't want a man like that :) Even knowing he is under suspicion for arson his first thought it to protect the people in his life before himself.
And last we get a BAT-SHIT crazy villain. Now I am not going to tell you who that is because that would be wrong but I will tell you that I didn't not know for sure who it was until almost the very end.
The story line is fast paced an incredibly suspenseful, not to mention HOT and I am not just talking about the fires! make sure you have plenty of time once you start this book because you won't want to put it down....

Maya Jackson is the female lead who is immediately attracted to the hot sexy Logan Cain. These two have a brief encounter and six months later, they meet again and sparks really start to fly. It was really fun seeing the physical attraction between Maya and Logan turn into to something deeper. I am about the listen to this one again, it’s that good!

As the book progressed, it moved from steamy to action packed and back over and over again. The story happens over a weekend so the timeline felt extremely unbelievable.
Is it worth the time and credit? I'd give this a hesitant yes. If you like other books by Bella Andre, then this is another good addition to your library. For me however, it's not on my list to re-listening to it. When I'm not reading a sci-fi or paranormal book, I like realistic and this story wasn't believable enough for me.

Logan's voice is very convincing and makes him what he is: a testosterone-filled man - quite impressive considering the female speaker....Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I certainly laughed a couple of timesI'd like to meet these hot shots :)
